Only the location makes this hotel worth considering.
Pros:

Great location (Espanya metro is right there) and surrounding landmarks are fantastic.

Cons:

Staff were very clinical and rude. Rooms were not cleaned. Basic breakfast selection. No complimentary water. Sauna was out of order. Pool water was freezing.

Bien ubicado y cómodo
Pros:

El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado. Tiene la estación del metro en la puerta. Hay varios lugares donde comer a los alrededores y lugares para lavar ropa muy cerca. El cuarto algo pequeño, era un triple, hay poco espacio para acomodar la ropa. El baño muy limpio y abundante agua. El edificio no es muy moderno pero está bien.

Pros:

Breakfast was great, but pricey at $40 AUD per person. Children were $30.
Location was central, easy to get everywhere.
Cleanliness was excellent.

Cons:

Our room had an issue with the AC while we were there (it didnt work!), they knew about it and moved us to another room on the same floor on our second complaint - the first complaint they did not seem to address or refer back on.
When we had an issue with the safe the day we checked out, it took the maintenance dept 45 minutes to arrive to open it - which delayed our departure and arrival to the airport.
As a guest in the hotel, the bar wouldn't let us take a wine glass upstairs to our room, giving us excuses and only allowing plastic that they didnt have enough glasses, and that even if we ordered through room service, we would receive it in a plastic glass. We did order through room service, and we got it in glass 🤦‍♀️
As a parent staying with a child, this was a frustrating experience.
