Staff were all welcoming, friendly and professional; Nick
Adrian, William, Olga, Maria - all of housekeeping were marvellous too. Breakfast was good - they prepared poached egg on request. Value for money.

Would recommend and would use again if in London
Pros:

Very quiet side road although tower block construction site ongoing during the day.
Easy 5 minute walk from tube station, 10 minutes max to museums and Albert Hall.
very efficient check in/check out.

Cons:

Nothing.

Be aware of constructions next door and poor internet
Pros:

Great location - in center of everything and well connected by tube and busses

Cons:

- Noisy construction of high building next door and. - very poor internet.
- Receptionist (an Asian man) was not honest in his feedback : 1- room is quiet. 2- last room available (we noticed 6 rooms were available at booking.com at the same moment..!!).

Dear Booking.com Support,

I am writing to complain about my booking at The Villa Kensington Hotel.

When I made the reservation, the description and photos on Booking.com suggested a comfortable hotel room. However, upon arrival my wife was placed in a basement room. The room feels like it is in a cellar, which is very disappointing and far below the expectations created by the listing.

I believe it is unacceptable to accommodate guests in a basement room without clearly informing them in advance. This is not what we expected when choosing the hotel through your platform.

I am writing on behalf of my wife, Antonina Kosareva, as I made the booking for her.

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. If possible, please help arrange a change of room or provide another suitable solution.

It was alright but needs more attention to detail.
Pros:

It was comfortable it was near to places that I like in that part of London South Kensington area.

Cons:

It hadn’t got any radiators in the room and was cold in the evenings. It also didn’t have the right type of soya milk or equivalent, so I had to buy my own.

A good place, good value- and excellent staff!
Pros:

The staff! SO nice and helpful. It's a nice place, everything is there. Not a high luxury but the price is great and good value for the money.

Cons:

I was cold at night and honestly couldn't figure out how to raise the temperature. I wished the bed cover was warmer. Ended up sleeping in three layers of clothing.

It is a great location if you want to come and London with the hop on hop off buses at the end of

Our London visit
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The twin room was small. It was hard to open suitcases to utilise. The bathroom was very small, no room to move.

Buena relación precio calidad
Pros:

La ubicación es muy buena, con las lineas de metro que pasan por Gloucester Road pude moverme a toda la ciudad! De noche la cuadra del hotel tiene poco movimiento, pero nunca me paso nada.

Cons:

El wifi es muy malo, la conexión no es estable. No oude usarlo desde mi habitación en ningún momento de mi estadía. Si queres tener wifi tenes que ir al lobby.

klein maar fijn
Pros:

Goede locatie, Underground was om de hoek, waardoor je met 5 minuutjes lopen bij 3 verschillende metrolijnen bent. badkamer was klein maar fijn.

Cons:

Kamer was gelijk naast de lift, dit beteknde dat ik best wat geluidsoverlast had.
