Room was clean, beds very comfy. Hotel is basic, the corridors are a little outdated and could do with a new carpets! But overall the hotel and staff were great for the price and to lay the head down at night!
Cinvenient
Budget hotel very close to Paddington but no luxury here. Safe enough. Rooms OK. Wife would have vetoed but fine when I stay on my own,
It was OK, the staff was not very helpful when asking questions about transportation to other areas. AC did not work at all and not stay there again.
The location was great. If you want affordable but don’t care about fit and finish, this may work for you. Unfortunately the hotel was not maintained well. Low water pressure, no air conditioning, uncomfortable beds.
We booked a triple apartment including a separate twin room expecting spacious and safe accommodation for our family, including two young children. We arrived in the evening to be told we didn’t have a booking. After 30 minutes, the hotel admitted a systems error meant out booking hadn’t been fulfilled and they had no availability, except for a smaller apartment.
This meant our young children had to share a bed and my wife and I had to sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the same room. This downgrade severely disrupted our holiday, requiring us to sit in the dark after our children’s bedtime to avoid waking them and leaving us with stiff backs and necks after two nights of discomfort.
We were told they would check for a larger room the following day, but nothing was available. The room itself was tired with broken tiles etc, but more concerning was apparent lack of regard for safety, with a broken safety latch on the window allowing it to open fully and a fire extinguisher that had been marked as last serviced over 8 years ago.
Despite all of this, the hotel have been refusing to issue any amount of refund on the booking, despite fully admitting fault over the reservation. Safe to say we won’t be back.
Convenient and competitively priced. Room was clean and surprisingly spacious. Otherwise, facilities are basic and dated. If you need clean, convenient and budget friendly, this is a good option. If you want glamour, then go elsewhere.
5 min walk from Paddington and near beautiful Hyde Park (great for walking and a picnic) which has a hop-on-hop-off stop in the north east corner.
Walkable to
The apartment was very cold no radiators were working had to sit in our coats and the bedrooms were freezing there was a little heater that we found in a wardrobe which helped a bit
Told our booking had not been comfirmed by Hotel.com even though we had booked 18 months ago moved to sister hotel down road and put in basement cave
Great, basic room but for what we wanted it was perfect
The property was in a great location to the Tube, stores and restaurants. The main issue with the property had to do with their lack of good mattresses. Despite them changing my room mid-stay due to the condition of the mattress in the initial room, the second room likewise had a very bad mattress. The rooms were cleaned daily and the towels replaced as well. The breakfast was of a continental type with the same items each day. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
No Wifi in room
Room smel;s
Security light shining straight into the room. Blinds were terrible. Was told lights couldnt be turned off.
Hole in the wall - appears to be where someone hit the wall
Breakfast was a poor continental - i called hotel before booking advised full english breakfast available
Location and access was perfect. Rooms are tiny bathrooms are even tinier. Walls are paper thin. Beds are very uncomfortable.
It was a cell not a room
So cold
No answer from a receptionist
My life was at risk the whole night because of the cold
The room was even below basic
Almost no shower
It was awful
The location, around the corner from Paddington Station, was easy to maneuver. We included the breakfast in the reservation and were pleasantly surprised by the full buffet of cereal, yogurt, ham, cheese, breakfast rolls, bread and more. We traveled with young kids and were accommodated well.
For London price and location were good. Average hotel but if you stay for 2-3 days this is the place! The area is very quiet but with some restaurants/coffee/kind of groceries option. Near the red and circle line (very important for tourist).
Had a wonderful stay and the location is great. Easy access into the centre of London with tube station a couple of minute walk. Staff were excellent and rooms and reception where good quality.
The springs were puffing up in my bed I asked them to turn over the mattress or get me a new mattress they put blankets down and then the sheets on top of it. The staff was extraordinary really good the breakfast was terrible. The rooms would not very clean
Basic hotel in a great location. We knew it was basic and that rooms are small while booking, but the heater and TV didn't work and there was no shampoo. Not even the basics we're met for the hefty price.
