We enjoyed a classic French room with a view, quiet and comfortable.

I loved the simple beauty, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. Also, very quiet and classic French views.

Cons:

The only downside (for me) was very touristy location—but also a good central location for seeing the major sites.

Comfy hotel in lively area. Surprisingly quiet.

Convenient location, warm welcome, although room was small it had everything we meeded. Lovely linen. Fridge and kettle were very useful.

Great hotel, great location
Pros:

This is the second time I have stayed here and I really love it. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, but on a small street that is pretty calm and quiet compared to other streets in the neighborhood. Everyone that works there is very welcoming and patient, and everyone speaks English but still were very kind and tolerated my attempts to communicate in French. Much appreciated! The rooms are small (typical) but they have everything you need, a comfy bed, a TV where you can stream YouTube among other things, a little mini-fridge to keep things cold, and both times I have been there the rooms have had a little balcony, which I love! The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The neighborhood is very lively, and it is close to Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Sorbonne. There are also a lot of little movie theaters that play movies from many countries, a lot of old classics, and sometimes film festivals highlighting a particular director for example. There are also a lot of Metro stations in the neighborhood, and one thing I really love is that you can get to the RER B train that goes directly to CDG airport, it's less that 100 yards away and there's and elevator if you have bags! I have felt very comfortable, safe, and well taken care of at the Hotel Europe Saint Séverin and I heartily recommend it.

Pros:

Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Room was nice but a bit worn. ( reason 4 out of 5) Beds comfy. Shower great. Elevator great Clean location stupendous!! Don’t hesitate to book.
