Economical rooms near Gare du Nord
Pros:

I was looking for a cheap place to stay for a night within walking distance of Gare du Nord and this fit the bill. Location is good, close to two metro lines with easy access to anywhere in Paris. Price was quite reasonable and included continental breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful. When I arrived (in a heatwave) the person on reception apologised that there was no air conditioning. But with a cold shower, an open window and the fan, I had a reasonably comfortable night's sleep.

There were two bottles of water in the room and additional bottles of chilled water were available on request.

Cons:

No major complaints.

Minor gripe: I had a heavy bag with me and I had to drag it up a flight of stairs, as my room was on the 5th floor, but the lift only goes up to the 4th floor.

Ci è stata mia figlia 4 giorni. L’Albergo é molto semplice, stanze leggermente piccole però per la tipologia di vacanza andava più che bene. In bagno c’era il bidet, il lavandino piccolo, non riusciva a lavare il viso senza sbattere nella mensola. Il servizio pulizia efficiente con cambio di asciugamani, pulizia del bagno e della camera tutti i giorni. Ad accoglierci alla reception lo staff è sempre stato cordiale e sorridente. Unica pecca la location: se si viaggia da soli non la consiglio molto. A rientrare tardi mancava un po il senso di tranquillità. Però tutto sommato é andata bene

Området med Barbès tunnelbana inte säkert. Det både röktes och såldes hasch rätt utanför dörren till hotellet. Gick inte ut eller hem efter 22.00.
I rummet fanns nåbart en fläkt som svepte runt redan varm luft. Vidrigt varmt.

Nous avons aimé les chambres qui sont spacieuse et agréable surtout avec la terrasse. Le personnel de l’accueil était très gentil mais aussi une dame du personnel très gentil qui a été très agréable avec nous car nous sommes arrivés en retard de 10 min au petit déjeuner et elle a quand même bien voulu que nous le prenions de plus quand nous avons quitter notre chambre d’hôtel à 11h35 au lieu de 11h30 elle a aussi été très agréable. Le personnel n’hésite pas à donner des bouteille d’eau bien fraîche ce qui est très bien en cette période.

Cons:

Une dame du personnel de ménage n’a pas été très agréable avec à 11h30 elle a frapper à la porte puis elle est rentrer sans attendre et quand on a dit qu’on allait partir elle a fermer la porte en disant une une injure ce qui est pas très agréable même si je comprends très bien qu’elle a beaucoup de chambres à faire ayant été aussi femme de ménage…

Sober maar prima verblijf, en je kunt lopend naar Montmartre!

Schoon en netjes. Dichtbij Montmartre, de Sacre Coeur, en bij een paar grote stoffenwinkels.
Vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Jammer dat er geen airco was, en met het raam open was er veel lawaai.
