L’emplacement

Cons:

Le bruit tôt le matin des travaux. Aucune excuses de l’établissement.
Pas de climatisation et il faisait chaud la nuit.
Le bruit des tuyaux d’évacuation d’eau la nuit.
Ça sentait la fumée de cigarette dans le couloir menant à notre chambre.
Très franchement, ça ne vaut pas le prix payé

Let down by booking.com and the hotel
Pros:

Location to train

Cons:

They charged me twice for the same room for the same night. They said booking.com took my money not them. I emailed booking.com who said that although its not their normally to refund bookings in light of the circumstances they would if the hotel agreed. The hotel refused to help and refused to let me communicate the matter with a manager. As far as im concered both booking.com and the hotel dont care. Im traveling with my dissabled son and am on a very low budget. I cannot afford to lose this money. I alerted the hotel the moment i realised the mistake. I myself am chronically ill and find navigating online hard.

Pros:

L'hôtel ne paye pas de mine de l'extérieur. Petite entrée. Personnel très agréable, et disponible explication parfaite.
Bonne literie. Malgré l'emplacement devant la gare de l'est et en pleine rue, le bruit est correct.
Petit bémol sur la carte d'ouverture des portes pas super pratique.

Très Bon petit déjeuner pour le tarif

Cons:

Hôtel bruyant: on entend les trains dehors et les évacuations d'eau, les personnes marche au dessus...
Des ouvriers ont effectué des réparations de plomberie dans le couloir jusqu'à 23h et la personne a l'accueil, de nuit, passait ses appels en haut parleur faisant profiter le 1er étage de sa conversation...
Tous très souriants et aimables mais bruyants...

A simple no frills base and useful for an overnight
Pros:

Room was big enough for one person. Comfortable and perfectly serviceable for a single night stay.

Cons:

Room was very hot (in March!) and amending the heating controls didn't seem to fix it. lso slight smell of drains on arrival in the room.

It's a fair trek if walking from Gare du Nord.

Très bien placé & chambre confortable.
Pros:

Très bon emplacement, réceptionniste très courtois, insonorisation de la chambre qualitative, possibilité de faire son café/thé en chambre avant de sortir.
