Hôtel Félicité

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and helped me out by lending me a plug adaptor as I had forgotten to bring one. This was my first trip abroad since having been widowed seven years ago, I was understandably nervous but I was glad to be in this peaceful hotel which is situated on a quiet street in a pleasant area of Paris. This area is a nice choice if you want to surround yourself with Parisians going about their everyday lives rather than be swamped by tourists. My bed was cosy and nice clean sheets everyday. I will return hopefully with my children next time. Thank you all.

Chambre bien située, les lits aurait avantage a être changé mais quand même assez confortable pour une nuit.

Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig und laut. Die Zimmer liegen nahe beieinander und die Wände sind so dünn, dass ich die Gäste nebenan reden hören kann. Die Zimmer liegen nur ein paar wenige Fußschritte vom Fahrstuhl entfernt und man hört ständig Leute im Gang herum laufen. Es ist jetzt zwei Uhr am Morgen und ich kriege kein Auge zu, da ständig Zimmertüren geöffnet und geschlossen werden und Gäste herum laufen. Der Fahrstuhl ist übrigens kaputt und es wurde den ganzen Vormittag und Nachmittag lang, daran gearbeitet. Da der Fahrstuhl zwei Schritte entfernt ist, konnte ich Dank der Lautstärke, nicht einmal ein Telefonat in meinem Zimmer führen. Im übrigen ist das Hotel kein geschlossenes Gebäude sondern wie ein Atrium errichtet. Tritt man vor seine Zimmertür, steht man im Freien und kann in eine Art Innenhof blicken. Da die Türen verzogen sind, zieht es ordentlich und im unbeheizbaren Bad ist es so kalt, dass man mit den Zähnen klappert.
Die Sache mit dem Fahrstuhl und der stundenlangen Lärmbelästigung durch die erfolglosen Reparaturversuche, sind wohl eine Sache, eine andere aber, seine Gäste mit sinnlosen Anliegen zu stören. Dazu muss man wissen, dass die Türen kein Guckloch haben und man deshalb nicht sehen kann, wer vor der Tür steht und klopft. Wenn man das Hotel verlässt ( obwohl man noch eingebucht ist ), soll man seinen Zimmerschlüssel abgeben, obwohl man all seine Sachen im Zimmer hat?! Noch NIE erlebt. Total unseriös!

Très bon séjour pour le travail. Service impeccable. Accueil parfait. Personnel disponible et adorable. Très serviable. Le seul hic: aucun réseau dans l’hôtel, même leur wifi ne passe pas.

At first we were a bit worried, since there are many weird comments online.
But since we couldn’t find anywhere else as cheap in Paris, we ended up booking it.
It turned out to be totally OK !
Room was fine, cleaning lady was nice, and lobby 2/3 lobby guys are nice !
You get what the price is !
Plus good location (3-4 minutes walk to public transport, supermarket and laundry)

Compact hotel in a great spot close to public transport. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable and we felt safe in the neighbourhood.

Rustige plaats met top personeel, vriendelijkheid en service gegarandeerd. Alles qua accommodatie is aanwezig, niet meer maar ook niet minder.
