Room felt newly refurbished - comfortable, clean, good shower., good bed. It was pretty small, but that's expected at the price. Nice location.
Fifth floor without a lift was tedious - and also tiring on arrival with luggage. I'd have liked tea and coffee to be provided without having to ask staff for the sachets each day.
The staff were very helpful, friendly, and welcoming, and the communication was excellent throughout our stay.
The breakfast was also very tasty. Of course, everyone has different preferences, but for a three-night stay, the breakfast was more than enough for both my husband and me.
The beds may not look particularly comfortable at first glance, but they were actually great, and we slept very well.
The hotel is surrounded by cafés, pizzerias, shops, and public transportation, which makes the location very convenient.
The main thing we did not like was the amount of noise, both from outside and inside the building.
The walls are quite thin, so sounds from the neighbouring apartment, including the bathroom being used, could be heard almost as if they were coming from our own room. The cafés and people outside also seemed louder than expected, probably because of the limited sound insulation.
I understand that some things can be difficult to change due to the type and structure of the building. Perhaps providing earplugs for guests would be a simple and helpful solution for this issue.
As a pregnant woman, I also found it quite difficult that the accommodation does not have an elevator and that there are quite a lot of stairs. But I survived! 😊
Unfortunately, we were also disappointed by our first impression regarding cleanliness. When we arrived on the first day, my husband noticed that the toilet had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. He also found a blood stain on his pillowcase, which appeared to have simply been turned over rather than replaced.
On the following day, the ladies who cleaned the room did a good job and everything looked clean and tidy. So, while the accommodation was generally fine afterwards, the cleanliness issues on the first day unfortunately left us with a disappointing first impression.
