Well-situated in Cannes, the Abrial is exceptionally good, clean, and friendly.
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay and location so well, that we extended a few days more and simply used the trains and busses to visit Grasse and other areas near Cannes.

Cons:

We really liked everything. One afternoon, we arrived back after a long day and were tired and asked about a coffee. There is a small coffee maker in the room, but it creates small espresso. The gentleman at the desk led us to the breakfast room to the coffee machine, gave us each a long coffee, asked if we wanted to sit outside, and we enjoyed our coffees very much. We assumed, wrongly, that these were complimentary, but at checkout, two days later, they were on the invoice along with the city taxes that we had not yet paid. There is a list of prices for extras, including coffee and tea, near the elevator, but I suppose that after a week at the hotel, and after not asking for much room service, or even extra coffee to the room on three possible times, it did feel a little bad to be asked to pay for two small machine coffees at the end of our lovely stay. We were very happy, however, when our usual hostess came out to wave goodbye as we left. If we return to Cannes, we will likely stay again, and we can absolutely recommend the hotel to others, for business or holiday.

Small boutique hotel with large rooms and friendly staff. .
Pros:

Great reception, large very clean room with balcony, walking distance to everything, good breakfast with friendly staff at desk and dining.

Cons:

We liked everything and extended two extra days.
