I rarely take the time to write reviews but felt compelled to do so for Petit Palais in Nice. The hotel is lovely, in a quiet neighborhood, with excellent breakfast. Service surpassed all expectations from pre-arrival assistance with transfers to organizing an emergency bike repair on arrival that literally saved my vacation. Shout out to Kevin at the front desk who provided nothing short of world class service!

What a fantastic hotel. Great location and superb staff. The hotel is quintessentially French in atmosphere, decoration, etc. The rooms are well appointed and immaculately clean. It's location also means that it's very quiet. But best of all are the staff: Kevin, Philippe, the ladies in the breakfast room, the night porters were all great - very helpful, informative and charming. Asilli - he driver associated with the hotel was also a great addition. We definitely recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again when in Nice.

The hotel was beautiful and located in a peaceful area on a hillside. We walked to the city center and to the old town which took about 20-30 minutes but the area was nice and we felt very safe to walk there. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Philippe at the front desk, who seemed to know every guest by name. Our room was quiet and modern and the balcony was nice.
The breakfast is quite expensive (40 eur / person) and even though the selection is plentiful, the quality was not worth the price in our opinion. It was by no means bad, but if you walk 15 mins to the city, you can find a lot of cafes and get a better breakfast at half the price.
The location, grounds and service were remarkable. Thank you so much to, Kevin, Phillipe and the lady also on reception for the luxury service you provided us throughout our stay. The hotel was so well kept and you made our stay even more enjoyable with your attentiveness. We will definitely return. Thank you, Steve & Lucy

Location friendly and very helpful staff
Rooms a bit small
We have just enjoyed a fabulous week at Le Petit Palais - an elegant, quiet, boutique sized hotel with great views of the city. Our room was lovely - exceptionally clean with a super front facing terrace. The staff were most welcoming and super friendly. Always happy to help. The buffet style breakfast was delicious and we ate on the patio most days. The front of house team organised taxis and restaurant bookings for us which was a huge help. A ten out of ten choice for a hotel with a personal touch. We will definitely return . Rachel and Nick
Charming room with a small balcony, Excellent bathroom with a great shower. Very comfortable bed. Close to the Marc Chagall museum. Ten minutes walk from Garibaldi square. Breakfast in a garden is better that in most 5 star hotels.

The staff and the property itself was magnificent
Not a lot around the property as far as restaurants or shops, but that made it very peaceful. It was not a long walk and downhill to reach town. There was a driver always available to pick up and drive back to the hotel. Very nice!!
Beautiful small hotel, personal touch with wonderful staff, I received an upgrade to a larger room which was still small, but had everything you need, everything works, small issue with making up the room was handled professionally. All in all highly recommended.
The hotel has a nice breakfast room and a terrace, but there is no food at night, and the bar is not staffed. If you want any of this you are looking at a walk down - and up the hill.
