Man blir ju alldeles varm. Små prisskillnader, men stor skillnad i värde.
A beautiful oasis in the middel of Gambetta, with brilliant location and very pleasant service. Both the hotel as such and our room was nice and clean. We will definitely return to Hotel Armenonville!
Bel hotel. Très bien situé. Parking très pratique mais en supplément.
Gostei do quarto, espaçoso e limpo.
Stayed here for 4 nights and it wasn’t a pleasant stay. We were in a room next to reception so could hear every word spoken there, we could even hear the TV. The room had a half drunk smoothy in the fridge when we arrived, how long it has been there I dread to think. There was also a coat in the wardrobe when we arrived. Neither the bath or sink had a plug which was annoying. The handle was missing from the inside of the bathroom door. The AC was slow and not very effective. Not a great location, it’s okay but a more central hotel would have been nicer (I thought this one was). Only redeeming features were that it has a nice (albeit small pool outside) and decent mattresses. It seems in Nice you either have cheap hostels or expensive hotels, this was one of the few in the middle but would recommend either paying less and going basic or paying more and getting something nice. Poor value for money overall.
Hyggelig betjening. Enkel frokostservering i hagen
My best friend and I booked this hotel for two nights last week. As we arrived with our two motorcycles, the lady at the front desk was super rude and charged us 20€ directly for the parking (2 motorcycles!!!!). I was in a "vacation mood" so I didn't argue about it. As we entered the stairway, my friend and I already had a first impression of how run down this place actually is. Then, we entered our room #11 - the carpet was full of hair, the bed sheets were dirty and the bathroom was molded on different areas. The flat screen was not working and the A/C made loud noises that made me think of sleeping next to a running car. They didn't provide shower soap so we had to directly get some in "Lidl" down the road. The shower didn't had warm water at all.
The hotel charges you extra to use the safe in the little shelf, that's why we didn't even think of spending more money for such a business! The worst experience of our stay was the following: We wanted to leave the hotel for a trip to Monaco. As we handed back the room keys at the front desk to the lady, she asked us if there was still "Baby-Bell" (cheese) in our room fridge. My friend and I looked confused at each other because we had no clue what she was talking about. Then she added: "The lady before you forgot them in the room". This statement confirmed me that the room haven't been cleaned after the last guest has left the hotel before us. The amount of hair on the carpet already made me think of that in first place but I didn't want to believe it. On top of that, I told the lady that our room is a mess and dirty. She didn't appologize for the circumstances and she didn't even call the housekeeping to take care of it.
My friend and I were really really
disappointed and we both have never experienced such a bad hospitality service. I do NOT recommend this hotel to anybody of you unless you won't to spoil your stay in Nizza. This place does not represent 3 stars, more like a run down 2 star hotel the most!
DISGUSTING ROOM !!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!
ENDURED 4 Nights here booked via Booking.com
Room had NO floor carpet, NO minibar (fridge only) & NO room fan as stated on the booking site - misrepresented on BOOKING.COM.
BAD reception on arrival - not welcoming at all! Spare bedding was on display squashed in stairwell to entrance of rooms upstairs.
We paid $175 a night and endured a HORRIBLE DISGUSTING ROOM! Reception not interested in guests comforts. Room air conditioning hardly worked! The bathroom was ugly! Grubby shower recess, broken shower wall bracket - ONLY hand held shower which was totally awkward - how do you wash your hair & shower? No soap holder. Filthy windows in bathroom! Ugly large area of cracked plaster/paint peeling off wall above toilet. Broken cupboard handle below vanity. Hole in pool towels! Bed blanket was massively ripped!
Reception was not all Interested in assisting your concerns - Just bad luck for you! Apparently management was available in the a/noon -(not convenient) BUT no follow up after my complaints. Complained to Booking.com & sent photos - Hotel management's reply to them was "we provided what was necessary" This hotel is NOT AT ALL interested in pleasing you.
Reception said there was no other room available to shower.
Save yourself the heartache and DO NOT STAY HERE !!!
Tucked away in a private residential area - this hotel was ideal for us as it was small, traditional, the staff very polite and helpful, beautifully tranquil and peaceful, a short walk to the coastline, shops, restaurants, airport & train station. Private parking onsite was a bonus and the atmosphere was delightful. We will definitely stay here every time we visit South of France.
This is a very old property that needs a lot of updates. We had to change our room within the same hotel. The first room had an old and dirty carpet. The second room was a little more updated but air conditioning was not working properly. My daughter got locked in in the bathroom and it took me a while to open the door. The hotel representative didn’t even come to the room to check it out. The bathroom of the second room wasn’t much better. The old tiles was painted with the paint instead of replacing them. Overall don’t recommend it
Expérience positive, chambre un peu petite
The hotel could be nice, it has a beautiful facade, old classical building, and a small swimming pool. Inside parking is easy.
But the maintenance is very bad: dirty stairs, dirty room, bathroom with mold and peelings all over.
The water of the swimming pool is turbid.
The cheap restructuring that the hotel had had left heater connections on the walls
Avoid.
The pool and garden was lovely! The mediterranean was a short walk away. Our beds were just OK but the air conditioning worked great. The breakfast was a little late one day and we had to unlock the door ourselves and kinda get the coffee machine going. We would definitely stay here again!
Among apartment buildings, just off a bigger street with several restaurants, you will find this beautiful old building with its own garden! The hotel is very pretty both on the outside and the inside. We were upgraded to a junior suite so I don't know the size of a standard double room. The suite was large with a comfortable bed and a bedsofa for our children, also very comfortable. There was AC, a minifridge and a large bathroom with a shower. The suite was on the first floor with a small terrasse, which led out to the garden and the pool area. The pool was so nice, but very deep at one end (good to know it you have small children with you) which is nice for adults and older kids. There was sun lounge chairs and other garden furniture, lots of trees ( for shade) and pretty flowers. The staff was very nice and even after check-out we were allowed to keep our luggage in the hotel and stay in the garden all day until our flight left in the evening! The two only things I didn't like was that the water overflowed in the shower and flooded the bathroom floor and part of the room floor and that the walls of the bathroom didn't go all the way up to the ceiling in our suite. With that said, I would definately stay here again if/when I go back to Nice! The hotel wasn't just nice it is also close to the tramway and within walking distance of the big shopping street!
