I spent a long time thinking about whether I should post this review or not.
I chose this hotel based on the reviews I had read. In the photos, the hotel looks very nice, and in reality, the furniture is modern and the hotel appears to have been renovated. However, the services — especially the cleanliness — are very poor. The hotel has potential, but the level of cleanliness and maintenance needs significant improvement.
The location was convenient — very close to the train station (about a 4-minute walk), which was great because we wanted to visit several cities. However, the hotel is located in a rather dirty and quite unsafe area, especially in the evening.
The staff were okay and quite friendly. The hotel looks very nice from the outside. There is a luggage storage room. The rubbish is collected and the towels are changed daily. There are many restaurants nearby. The air conditioning works well.
I genuinely cannot understand HOW this hotel has 3 stars. It is incredibly dirty. There was a thick layer of dust built up next to the radiators, along with lots of hair. The tables and furniture surfaces were filthy. The side of the desk was covered in food stains and dried-up drink residue. Even the sides of the rubbish bin were extremely dirty.
I immediately went out to buy cleaning wipes so I could clean everything myself, and I was honestly shocked by what came off. It was absolutely disgusting. This should simply not happen in a hotel!
When I cleaned the sides of the sink, fruit seeds came out from underneath them (we had not eaten any fruit with seeds). Absolutely disgusting.
The towels were cream-colored and most of them were discolored in places with what looked like bleach. Honestly, it made me wonder whether they use them to clean the bathroom between guests.
There is a soft, plush-like blanket on the bed that I am almost certain is not changed between guests. The bathroom is extremely small and cramped, with a shower cabin that feels like a matchbox.
The area itself is not the cleanest or safest. The reception is only open until 10 PM. There is no elevator, which is fairly common in older buildings in France, but it is still something to keep in mind.
The bed is small, and the pillows clearly need to be replaced judging by their condition. The room is small and generally very cramped.
We stayed for 3 nights, and honestly, it was a really bad experience. I was worried because afterwards we moved to Cannes for another 4 nights at another 3-star hotel, and I thought we might have a similar experience. But it was a completely different world — completely different level of service and exactly what I would expect from a 3-star hotel.
I’m telling you: this hotel is a 2-star hotel!! I do not recommend it!

Great location, clean, comfortable room, reception open until late with the possibility to store you luggage, very friendly and communicative.
They even helped me with some lactose free alternatives for the breakfast cooked especially for me! And good coffee available!

Friendly manager. The windows/curtains blocked light and sound, so it was easy even though it opens directly to the street.
The decor and furnishings are dated, and the bed didn’t have real pillows.

Hayatımda gördüğüm en eski saç kurutma makinesiydi. Odada terlik bile yoktu. Duş çok küçük, dönmek imkansız ve duş suyu az akıyordu. Bu fiyata kesinlikle verilen hizmete değmiyor.
