Underwhelmed, uncomfortable, wouldn’t recommend

Disappointing Stay at Valentin Grand Park Suite Hotel, Peguera.

We recently stayed at the Valentin Grand Park Suite Hotel in Peguera, Mallorca, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations.

The bedroom itself was modern and well-presented, but comfort was lacking. The bed was particularly uncomfortable, and to make matters worse, my husband suffered bites from what appeared to be bed bugs—an issue that seriously undermined our stay.

One of the advertised amenities was an adult-only bar, which we were looking forward to as a quiet retreat. However, staff allowed children into the space.

Another major downside was the prevalence of smoking throughout the hotel grounds. There didn’t seem to be a designated smoking area, which meant that as non-smokers, we struggled to find any outdoor space free from smoke—a real disappointment for those wanting to enjoy fresh air.

We had a room with a balcony, but it was poorly situated—facing a wall and a road, with no sunlight at any time of day. It felt like a missed opportunity and rendered the balcony essentially unusable.

Overall, while the hotel has potential with its modern interiors, the lack of attention to comfort, cleanliness, and guest experience made our stay regrettable.

Idéal en famille avec enfant, nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cet hôtel. L’emplacement est idéal, les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et d’une propreté irréprochable. Le personnel est exceptionnel : toujours souriant, disponible et aux petits soins. Les services proposés sont variés et de grande qualité, et les animations apportent une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale tout au long du séjour. Tout était réuni pour que nos vacances soient inoubliables, nous n’avons trouvé aucun défaut. Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Peut être le buffet qui manque un petit peu de choix pour le dîner du soir mais sinon tout était parfait

God frukost. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal!

Cons:

Fattades handtvål på toaletterna vid pool och gym.
Maten var tyvärr lite smaklös och ibland fanns det inte direkt något som passade oss.
Beställde pizza på en av lunch-restaurangerna och då smakade den mögel, de hade nog använt någon gammal ost.

Pros:

Loved the pool area, but this was probably it. Was a bit of a walk to the beach, staff were lovely but with a mistake made by booking.com our room was too small we was offered another room slightly bigger but still no balcony which again booking.com stated there was.

Cons:

Hotel itself was dated on entrance old appartments in the other block are super dated and quite scary. Food is questionable. If you’re German then this is the hotel for you. Felt watched and felt like we didn’t fit in. We left the hotel a day early to go to another one. Room was not as per description was tiny and the washroom/bathroom is in the bedroom only separated via a curtain! A lot of the rooms are only a Juliet balcony. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel or the area. Lots of shops but all of the same things. Very touristy!

Highly recommend. Great value for money
Pros:

Our room was very clean and modern. Had a great view overlooking the pool area. The multiple pools areas and rooftop decks were also really nice. The location is really good, just a very short walk down to the beach and lots of restaurants. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, there were a lot of food options and the staff were always very friendly. We really appreciated the bottle of champagne and cake they brought out for my birthday.
