Hôtel La Pérouse

1. There was NO airconditioning for three full days. I was there for five nights / days and it began on only on the 4th day. The management should have offered a discount of say 20% on room rate for deficient facility esp with outside temp of 30 - 35 degs. I had the use of a fan but that was totally insufficient. I could not leave the windows at night open as all the considerable loud noise from the delivery service boys chatting at ground level could be heard clearly until late at night. (there are restaurants near the property hence they congregate there).
2. The hotel is designed for style, not functionality! Look at the hot water container and hot food containers at breakfast – difficult to use, look at the bathroom lights, the side lights next to the bed. And especially the glass cupboard which is truly minimalist in style and function.
3. This is not a FOUR star hotel as promoted. They don’t have basic facilities like a tea / coffee kettle in the rooms ! I drink tea before breakfast and in the afternoon and had to go down to Reception area where they have a hot water / coffee / tea facility. On the 3rd day, Aelia was kind enough to bring me the kettle for my use which helped me.
4. There is no fridge in the room. The staff kept my perishable food items in the kitchen fridge. Thank you.
5. The internet serviice was appalling. The staff could not tell me where one should face to get a good signal.
6. Bathroom lighting is pitiful. One cannot see one’s face in the mirror when shaving. The mirror by the room door had no light above it. So you rely on natural light for your needs !!
7. On arrival, a young trainee (Mayeline ?) asked me for Euro 50 as a deposit. I said I had already paid the hotel bill for five nights in advance and there was no booking.com rule saying E 50.00 was to be paid.When asked for a receipt, she refused. I asked for the Manager, she refused.

La puerta cuarto de baño es corredera y le falta un dedo para cerrar por lo que si vas de noche la luz sale habitación y molestas además k no te atreves a ir al wc a hacer tus necesidades pues la olor sale toda a la habitación y cuando te duchas pasa igual el vapor sale habitación. Es una lastima xk es muy comodo y precioso. No se porqie np cierran la puerta del todo aunque sea ponoendole una gpma.

Solo que cuesta llegar en coche porque se hace la calle peatonal justo antes del hotel

Pas de clim en pleine chaleur. Elle ne fonctionnait pas. On a averti la réception mais pas de réaction...le système pour occulter la lumière est original mais pas pratique. C'est pas facile de défaire les édredons sur les fenêtres.

Il bagno forse un pochino piccolo, ma comunque c'era tutto il necessario.

Le bruit de la terrasse du restaurant donnant sur l’arrière de l’hôtel. Mails celui ci ferme à 23h.

J'ai séjourné pendant la canicule et la climatisation de l'hôtel n'était clairement pas suffisante.
