Très bon accueil, petit dejeuner sans pretention mais suffisant.
Lovely friendly atmosphere, staff very welcoming. Nice touches such as cake and mint water in reception & bottles of tap water in the fridge that you could take to your room. Air conditioning and a big TV in the room.
Hotel warns about the flight of stairs up to reception on 1st floor.
The location was absolutely perfect, right at the top of the port with the view straight down the whole bay. Really great.
The staff are really lovely and friendly - absolutely can't do enough for you, very kind indeed.
The room is basic. It has a bathroom to your left as you enter, and then the bed is on a raised platform in the middle of the room on plywood - bare this in mind if you have mobility issues. The bed itself is comfy enough but you only get 2 pillows on the double bed (one each for a couple) and they are incredibly thin (you can fold them multiple times). There's an element of 'you get what you pay for' considering the price of other hotels also facing the marina but there were odd trade offs to make.
Overall I would say stay here if the room is just a room to sleep in for you and you want a cheap price with a good location.

Location is great, room was sparse but still functional. Had an earlier breakfast start (6:30am) which was convenient and pretty decent. Staff were kind. Easy to reach from train station St Charles. Lots of restaurants and cafes all around.
There are quite a few stairs you need to take to reach the reception. Hard to manage with big luggage. While the room and bathroom were clean, there was an unpleasant smell in the room.
