I cannot praise this hotel enough - literally everything was perfection!
The slides were brilliant and all the lifeguards were so kind, caring and helpful. The pool area was always clean and looked well cared for. The inside pool was lovely and very warm.
Food was sensational! Every night was different and very tasty. Lots of choice for everyone and a great chocolate fountain which was a hit with the kiddo!
The entertainment team and the evening entertainment was beyond compare and we went every night and say dancing, a magic show, clowns, and there was this amazing guy with a whip! Anyway, it was great!
Our rooms were always clean with fresh towels and beds made. Water bottles in the mini fridge. Just lovely!
We also loved the mini golf and the activities and competitions they ran.
I found it largely quiet and we all slept really well.
Great location and not far from the beach and the town at all!
The staff truly make it - from the helpful people on reception for who nothing is too much like extra blankets in the middle of the night, more pillows etc. to the entertainment team who are very enthused to the wonderful resturant staff that were always happy to see everyone and made sure you were happy and comfortable.
My friend was poorly the last two days so I spent the last two days watching the entertainment and down at the bar by myself and it was still amazing! Entertainment staff especially made me feel so welcome and spoke to me every night! Amazing holiday!
First time I’ve wanted a vacation to finish early as I wasn’t enjoying it at all. The grounds are very well kept and some staff are nice and helpful but there were more negatives than positives.
Walls are so thin, you can hear the next room breathing. This has been mentioned in other reviews for years but they haven’t done anything about it. It’s not exactly a cheap holiday for you not to get a decent sleep.
The person who checked us in did not give us a wrist band so next day, we got stopped entering the hotel as according to the security, we look like ‘bad people ‘
Food is typical all inclusive but the drink situation was just awkward and I still haven’t worked it out.
They police it so much for dinner time and have a price list for some reason.
Staff, half of them look asleep. You can tell they are tired and can’t be bothered being there. Others are nice and very helpful.
Poolside has to be best part of the hotel but they close the kids bit at lunchtime while others are kept open.
Overall, it wasn’t a great holiday for me and my 2 kids.
⭐ 2/5 – Wouldn’t recommend for a family holiday
At check-in, the staff were polite and helpful but seemed in a rush, more focused on taking the deposit than making us feel welcome.
At first, everything seemed fine — until it started going wrong.
All Inclusive (DON’T!)
We booked all-inclusive, but it really wasn’t worth it.
Breakfast: Decent variety, but the coffee was awful — it took us four tries to find something drinkable.
Lunch: Limited variety and mostly cold food.
Snacks: The booking said snacks were available throughout the day, but in reality they were only served from 1–3 pm — and even then, they were just reheated chips.
Dinner: Very bland, tasteless food. The best part was the drinks and desserts.
Bar: Again, “all-inclusive” isn’t what it seems. It’s advertised as available all day, but drinks are only served from 10 am to 11 pm. They give you the cheapest brands if you’re all-inclusive, while guests paying separately get much better quality drinks.
Maintenance & Security: Reported a broken light switch in the communal men’s toilet four times — still not fixed after a week.
I wouldn’t say the whole stay was terrible, but it definitely isn’t a place I’d return to, especially for a family holiday.
Overall hotel was great, kids loved the slides and pool. Although I'll never understand not opening the pool when it's raining. Youre going to get wet anyway!
Seen a few reviews that said inflatables wasn't allowed in the pool but our youngest two had rings in there the whole holiday and nothing was mentioned.
We went half board which was breakfast: great selection and was always something all the kids liked.
Evening meal: Again always something that everyone would eat.
Rooms: 3 of our rooms had the 2 double beds and bathroom. Which seemed to be fairly newish. Our 4th was a one bedroom apartment which was dated and a little run down. Also it was located above the mini golf course which allows people to play up to I think 10 o'clock at night which was noisy!
Like a lot of guests had said lots of kids running up and down the corridors late at night.
Thin walls too! Can hear everything from the apartments next door and above you.
Our room was so cold on a night time as the air con/heating unit never worked.
Daughters room which was one of the double bed rooms worked great though and was lovely and toasty for them on a night time.
Now this isnt the hotels fault but some of the guests are absolute animals! On more than one occasion see a father tell his young daughter to to strip and then proceed to have a poo at the side of the pool which is bad enough but he then just left it there. The life guard thought we was joking when they was informed about it until the see the still steaming log laid there.
Same family again also instructed his son to have a wee in the bushes too then next day!
There are more than enough toilets for this not to have happened which explains my stance that some guests are Animals!
Would visit again, all in all the kids had a great time which is what this holiday was intended for!
Family of four waterpark for kids great entertainment good kids stuff on all day rooms two double beds food great maybe if you eat out of a chippy every night wouldn't suit you.it is a family holiday so kids will be around it was 2k for us for week
Entertainment staff are the best so the 5 stars are for them. Especially cesar hes fantastic and is always happy 😊 the entertainment that is brought in on an evening is really repeattaive. Also when the dj is on they play all spanish and not much for other languages
By far the best resort and holiday we have ever been on. Location was fantastic and the staff wer outstanding. Will definitely be back next year.
We have just got back from a weeks stay at this hotel. The hotel was spotless and rooms cleaned daily. Staff very helpful and friendly in all areas.
The room was spacious and clean. As with previous reviews there is no kettle or hot drink materials in the room.
The hotel was very noisy at night with children and adults running along the corridors, the room provided no sound proofing from surrounding rooms making for a difficult sleep.
We were b&b, the breakfast was ok plenty of choice.
We went out every evening to eat out and found some lovely restaurants/bars along the seafront. We did a bus trip to Barcelona booking a bus transfer not using the hotels trip which was very expensive compared to what we paid.
In all we had a nice holiday but wouldn’t stay at this hotel again due to the noise.
HOTEL JOKE. Unfortunately, it wasn't funny... The first signs what is waiting for us began in the lobby. The elevators were so small that two people with two medium-sized suitcases barely fit. I'm 83kg and I'm 184cm tall. A baby stroller wouldn't fit through the doorway. The room is 17m², has two large beds, leaving no space to put our suitcases. Two ended up in the closet, and we jumped over the others throughout our stay. There's a 50-60cm gap between the beds and the wall, so moving around for a family of four is a logistical challenge. The room itself DEFINITELY needs renovation. Women who want to check their appearance before leaving have to use the bathroom mirror. The bathroom itself is in decent condition. There is a lack of furniture, a shelf, or anything to put clothes while taking a shower, or even a cosmetic bag. The only away is to put them on the floor or the toilet – that's about hygiene and FOUR STARS. Another issue is the lack of a trash bin, apart from a tiny one in the bathroom. Room maintenance is a disaster. Asking for room cleaning doesn't help. We went on a day trip and left the hanger to clean our room. We returned before 9 PM to find the beds made, but no fresh towels (we had left our dirty towels on the floor). There was no water in the minibar. We asked for a refill for TWO DAYS. For a family with children (as this hotel advertises), the lack of drinking water is a major problem.
Another HUGE MINUS is the hotel's terrible acoustics. This is the first time I've been to a hotel where I could clearly hear every word from behind the wall. And no, I'm not some old zealot who sits and eavesdrops. Our room was above the bar, so after it closed, we listened for an hour to the scraping of chairs and tables being moved. So again, a hotel that advertises itself as suitable for children kept them awake until at least midnight.
The food was average, although that's more a matter of taste.
The water attractions are in good condition, but they need renovations. We we were not allowed to move sunbeds. We needed one free sunbed and wanted to move free one next to ours. The lifeguard wouldn't allow it. Using inflatables in the pool was also forbiden. The water is quite cold at the end of september. There were FOUR KIDS in the large pool, and my children didn't want to swim, so we wanted to use inflatable. The lifeguard required the crocodile to be removed from the pool... I would have understood if the pool had been crowded... There was (almost) no entertainment. No music, no zumba, no aqua aerobics, etc.
This may not be the hotel's fault, but it's something to do with the large number of guests from England. I don't mind nationality, but the sight of people drunk from morning till night, with their own children to look after, is not pleasant.
I don't recommend it at all. And definitely not at this price. It's not 4-star standard. For what this hotel offers, the price should be around 500EUR per person, not 1,000. The Costa Brava is beautiful, and Barcelona is WONDERFUL. Next time we'll choose Airbnb or booking and use our own transport or metro and trams. While we loved Spain, the hotel turned out to be a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and a sense of wasted money.
Absolutely fabulous hotel with the nicest staff you would ever meet ,the girls at receptionare always waving hi to my little boy .special shout out to Alicia at reception,so friendly and kind, she really does go above and beyond and is fantastic at her job .my little boy is in a wheelchair an she gave us the best room with the Best view and in a great location making our holiday so much better an so accesible for my little boy to use the pool ,which makes life easier for us .we litterly can be at the pool in 30 seconds .the facilities here are brillant and everywhere in the hotel is so clean .such hard working staff.bedroom staff are fantastic..the girls in the pool bar are super friendly aswell, the restaurant has loads of choices of food an staff there are fantastic aswell .the lady on the door Natalya is so welcoming and the male waitor was great fun with my son even showing him his spiderman socks that matched my sons wheelchair .the entertainment team is fabulous and Ceasar is so friendly, always giving high 5s and hugs to my son .he really is brilliant and so much fun ,and the girl that works with him is really friendly too, great at facepainting .This is our 2nd time at this hotel an we definitely will be back again.so sad to be leaving this wonderful hotel .
I stayed here 01/9 - 6/9
I was a bit nervous because I had read quite a few negative reviews but honestly couldn't fault it.
I went solo with my five year old boy. There was plenty for us to do there. I found the staff friendly , to be honest I found some of the guest were quite rude not only to the staff but to other guests.
We were on the bottom floor over looking the pool, the guest above us would throw there rubbish down onto our balcony every night. This wasn't the fault of the hotel.
The cleaner came into our room daily to clean and put bottles of water in our fridge.
Reception were very helpful .
We enjoyed the food, there was something we liked each time we visited the restaurant.
Slides were great fun. We would definitely return
Kids loved the slides and mini golf.was a very relaxing holiday.Reception staff where all lovely.
Good resort cesar is an amazing addition to the resort aswell as the bar staff!! The lady who works the down stairs cafe is brilliant
Best staff ever cesar was the man🔥
Food was good room was brilliant
Pools and life guards were brilliant to
Worth a visit 🔥🔥
Just left the hotel after a week . Thought the hotel is generally good on the whole , spotlessly clean every where , slides and pool are great , waters cold but it is everywhere abroad usually because your body temperature is higher so feels colder. The indoor pool was fab on the overcast day. Staff were really helpful and most friendly, yes they are bit strict but their jus doing their jobs by implementing the rules most were friendly about it. The reception were really helpful whilst booking trips. Great location easy to get to everything. Food was good lots of selections I'm a very fussy eater but always found something, the only downside to this hotel is the entertainment, especially the kids animation team, compared to other hotels we.v been to they are very poor .
I would definitely return here tho. My 9 year old loved it
Rooms - We had apartment for family of 4, found it to be a decent size and had what we needed. Bed a bit hard but down to personal preference. Cleaner in everyday with clean towels and doing a general tidy-up
Pool area - As season winding down we could get loungers anywhere anytime of the day, but expecting this to be busy at peak times. Slides and pools good for kids. Lifeguards a bit OTT with their whistle if you dont 'stick to the rules'
Entertainment - Ceaser and co work hard. Evening entertainment aimed at younger kids not suitable for our teenagers. Adult shows very poor although magician was decent. Good sizes games area with pool table, air hockey etc
Food/Drink - Standard All Inclusive, food selection good suitable selection for everyone. Drinks good also, nice selection of cocktails included too
Location - Great location 5 minute walk to beach, shops and busy areas. Lloret not a big place so everywhere within walking distance
Would return
Everything is good!!!!! Animation 10 Caesar the best!!!!! Bar good, food good end mini club good . This hotel is love place
Location is excellent, just a 2 minute walk from the stunning Lloret de Mar beach.
Atmosphere was somewhat sterile, restaurant had zero ambience , no background music, felt like a hospital canteen - everything white.
Evening entertainment was very poor - Clown Sisters 0/5, Magican 2/5, Musical Bingo 0/5, DJ 0/5, Argentina show 3/5, Flamenco dancing 4/5.
Kids mini disco was fun for small kids but same thing every night - same songs in same sequence - my 7 year old took part the first night, but not thereafter.
Rooms are very small, seemingly paper walls - noise from other rooms was very loud.
Not enough restrooms in common areas and there were frequently dirty and hand driers not working.
Bar staff were very friendly (particularly Nadia Hernandez) and helpful but prices of drinks were exorbitant compared to prices in bars & restaraunts in the town.
Cocktails were poor and felt like very little alcohol used ( eg rum in Pina colada was a very short pour)
Air-con vents in room were compacted with a thick layer of dust & dirt and well passed a service date.
Pools were excellent, and kids loved waterpark features.
Loads of seating/beds at pool, lots of life-guards on duty
Food in main restaurant was very limited in choice and quality of ingredients was questionable.
Perfect hotel for family, great food, nice animation for kids and family.
Friendly staff
Definitely recomed for families
