The beautiful room and the understated quality throughout
L’emplacement, et la literie
Le prix du petit déjeuner avec le manque de variété (en plat chaud il n’y avait que du bacon très (trop) grillé et des œufs brouillés, un peu léger pour 17€/ par personnes. Le jus d’orange pressé est à faire nous même minute, mais il n’y a pas de point d’eau pour de rincer doigts pour se laver les mains du jus de l’orange lorsqu’on la coupe, le pain et la brioche coupés à l’avance et à l’air libre: c’était sec à 9h lorsque nous sommes arrivés.
La privatisation du sauna, pas allumé lorsque nous sommes arrivés: il était vraiment chaud 5 minutes avant la fin du créneau de 20 minutes, et le jacuzzi est à côté de la piscine donc manque de tranquillité avec les enfants qui sautent dans l’eau ou viennent nous voir: le prix ajouté de 12€ par personne me paraît très cher pour une privatisation partielle et un manque d’organisation (l’allumage du sauna avant notre arrivée prévue aurait été bien appréciée).
Emplacement merveilleux et hôtel magnifique
Location is excellent right on the river and within in a 7 minute walk of town centre. Breakfast was satisfactory. We paid to park in the small car park at the rear of the hotel, but there is plenty of free parking on the main road. Comfortable and spacious room on the front of the hotel overlooking the river.
This is a little gem of a hotel right in the heart of Saumur. Clean rooms, amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast. And to top if off, a beautiful pool and a/c to beat the historic heatwave.

The room was lovely with air conditioning, much needed in the heatwave.
The location was fantastic with easy access to the town, river and the chateau.
Breakfast was very nice and a good selection.
The staff were polite and very friendly.
If we were to visit Saumur again we would definitely chose Hotel Anne d'Anjou.
