Une belle parenthèse à Saumur
Pros:

Tout était parfait ! Le lieu a beaucoup de charme. La petite cour arrière ainsi que la piscine rendent les extérieurs de l’établissement très jolis.
Le petit déjeuner était excellent et très varié.
L’hôtel est situé à proximité du centre et offre une belle vue sur le château !

Lovely hotel in centra location but spa facilities not as good as expected.
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel with secure bike storage and a cute courtyard. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely warm pool if a bit small. Fantastic good value breakfast which we ate in the courtyard.
Quiet room with comfy bed. Breakfast served until 10.30am.
Great central location.
Would return.

Cons:

Our room was small with a small bed. We had requested a room with a view of the chateau (which was fantastic) but it did seem to be the smallest room on the floor. We had had to pay a supplement for a chateau view so felt it was a bit expensive for the size of the room.
Towels in room were a bit small and seemed a bit old.
Hooks on back of door would be helpful.
Also had to pay extra for sauna and jacuzzi which we weren’t expecting.

Magical setting under the castle, beautiful grounds, and spacious clean room!
Pros:

The location was nestled under the castle & when we arrived at night it was magical & glowing. Our room was on the courtyard & we enjoyed a bottle of wine quietly in the garden gazing up at the castle. Great location, the room was very spacious, the hotel & grounds were quiet, & the receptionist was cheerful & helpful. Great idea to stop here!

Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Lovely little garden. Parking.

Our room only had a skylight, rather than a window, but it didn't spoil our stay.
