The location was good with easy walking to restaurants and local sites. The breakfast room, staff and food was really nice and probably the best coffee options in all my two week stay in the Loire region.

Wichtig ebenfalls zu wissen: eine frühzeitige Reservierung im Restaurant L‘Essentiel ist nötig, vor allem am Freitag/Samstag (Haute Cuisine), ersatzweise Le Bistrot de La Place.
Das außergewöhnliche Frühstück in einem farblich sehr schönen Frühstücksraum lässt keine Wünsche offen.
„Loire-Blick“ bedeutet, eine laute Durchgangsstraße vor dem Fenster zu haben! Das Hotel wird nachts beleuchtet. Diese Helligkeit dringt durch die Vorhänge. Wen diese Themen stören, sollte vom Zimmer mit Loire-Blick Abstand nehmen.
Wegrutschende Betten in dieser 4**** Preisklasse irritieren etwas… ebenfalls das Kärtchen auf dem Tisch mit der Info, dass eine Bewertung von 8,0 einer schlechten Bewertung entspräche (solch eine Karte hat dieses Hotel eigentlich nicht nötig, denn das Hotel war zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt ausgebucht). 8,0 = sehr gut
De airconditioning stond bij aankomst al aan, wat erg fijn was. De kamer was ook erg ruim. Een fijne bijkomstigheid van het hotel was de aanwezigheid van het zwembad om verkoeling in te zoeken. Ook is het hotel dichtbij restaurants gelegen.

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar an der Altstadt und man kann alles zu Fuß erkunden. Es ist ein Altbau in top renoviertem Zustand, die Zimmer sind geräumig und man hat entweder einen Blick auf die Loire (über die Straße) oder nach hinten heraus auf das beeindruckende Schloss von Saumur. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, unsere Fahrräder konnten wir in einer dafür perfekt gestalteten Garage sicher abstellen und laden. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klasse und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ein kleiner Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein.
Für ein Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück muss man schon 200 € einplanen, es ist also nicht gerade preiswert, bietet aber einen wirklich komfortablen Aufenthalt in bester Lage

I love the elegance of the rooms, the staircase, the charm of the bar, the beauty of the courtyard and pool, seeing the history through the framed photos , the windows opening to a beautiful view of the Loire river, the wonderful bed and linens, really everything!

L emplacement exceptionnel et l accueil
I needed to charge my car and I needed space for my dogs. Both were no problem at all and the hotel was so good and helpful. Small touches like dog bowls and treats in the room - just made it extra special.
I should have stayed longer!

Great location - very close to old town bars and restaurants, and short walk to chateau.
Good parking at rear of hotel (paid), but also free on road outside.
