#1 place to stay in visiting the Vatican!
Pros:

Location next to the Vatican was extraordinary. The parquet floor and wall touches were great. Pictures of Popes were nice. Front desk service was elegant.

Sadly the toilet seat in room 112 needed replacing and we stayed 2 nights, although we were allowed to check in early on the first day which was very helpful, sadly our room was forgotten after we left for our sightseeing next day at 9.30am, I asked the lady at the desk on our return did they service the rooms everyday she said yes, I told her ours hadn’t at 9.30pm and wasn’t a big deal at that time of night, she said it was and she would investigate, i asked for dry clean towels which she supplied, but asked me did I leave a do not disturb sign on our door? Why would I when we were going out for the whole day? We aren’t people who make a fuss, we’ve travelled all over the world, but it wasn’t mentioned next morning when we checked out? The cost of the room for 2 nights was €427

Perfect stay near Vatican City.
Pros:

This was our first time in Rome, we booked very last minute.
We arrived very late due to the airline having delays.
The receptionist waited back so he could welcome us.
Location is prefect, rooms were perfect to knowing we needed a shower and good nights sleep as during the day we would be out sightseeing.
The roof top terrace bar is a hidden gem, the views over the Vatican were amazing and one I will never forget.
Breakfast was very good, great selection and staff always willing to assist and serve.
The small
Touches made our stay, a note from the hotel welcoming us, the gospel of the day delivered to your room, room service was perfect and we felt special to the staff.
On departure day we had some hours to kill so the hotel allowed us to do our own emails at a table in the reception area, much appreciated.

A wonderful 2 nights, 3 days in a beautiful and comfortable setting!
Pros:

We were right next to St Peter’s and in a historical building that had been updated excellently. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. Value for money could not be better and was surprising in Rome!
