The hotel’s location is excellent, with everything within easy walking distance. The meals offer great value for money, with a good variety of options to choose from. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The rooms are somewhat outdated, but they are clean and provide all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
However, parking can be an issue. Nearby parking costs €23.50 per 24 hours, and accessing the hotel by car can be time-consuming due to the many one-way streets in the area. It’s also worth noting that the swimming pool is unheated (we visited in April) and quite small—the photos make it appear larger than it actually is.

All the staff was so friendly my flight arrived late and they let me still enjoy the buffet before they closed
The walls was a little thin in the room I had so I could hear the couple next door

Oferta redusă de băuturi răcoritoare. Izolarea fonică ar putea fi mai bună, să nu se audă aparatul de aer condiționat al vecinilor.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience before others book.
To start with the positives, the hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. The entertainment host and the bar staff were also genuinely friendly and welcoming, which was probably the most pleasant part of our stay.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The food was particularly poor. There were only around six options available at any time and most dishes were lukewarm or cold. Considering the reviews we had read before arriving, this was quite surprising.
The “all-inclusive” package also felt quite limited. There were very few drinks included for guests who don’t drink lager, and only the draft lager was part of the package rather than the bottled beers available behind the bar. The spirits were also kept out of sight under the counter, which made it difficult to know what options were available.
The evening entertainment host was friendly and clearly tried to make guests feel welcome. However, the overall atmosphere felt more focused on local guests and most of the music and activities were in Spanish, which made it difficult for us to fully engage.
Overall, the hotel seemed to cater mainly to a specific group of guests rather than a broad international mix. Because of this, it didn’t quite match the type of holiday experience we were expecting.
Given the reviews we read before arriving, our stay felt very different from what we anticipated.
- location is brilliant for access to old town ( 5 min walk)
- comfortable beds and fantastic air conditioning
- fridge in room ( although wasn’t very cold)
- pleasantly surprised by food. Good selection each day, different things
- the pool is fully in shade due to buildings shading it. The sunloungers are in sun. The pool area is on a main road which is not pleasant to sit next to while sunbathing. Some pool side music would improve this
- the hair dryer in the room was atrocious. These need updating ASAP
- the shower head kept falling forward even after asking for it to be fixed.
- very dated but reflective by the cost.
- mostly Spanish hotel, very few English people. We found the staff pleasant but didn’t seem to be happy most of the time.
- no drinks with dinner even though some reviews stated this. You can only have water.
We’d probably not stay here again, however it is a very budget option if you’re looking for this. Wouldn’t stay here if you intend on it being a ‘ relaxing’ stay
