If you want to spoil yourself, the Rector Hotel in Salamanca, Spain is the place to be!
Pros:

Every aspect of our stay was exceptional! Starting from the warm reception by Carlos. He navigated us into the garage, quickly got our luggage into our room, seated us at the bar with a great Rioja and showed us into the dining room with a great meal.
The room greeted us with a bottle of champagne and snacks and the turn down service had extra touches. The minibar featured free, non-alcoholic drinks and there is a coffee maker with good choices. The breakfast offers lots of choices, including eggs of your choice.

Cons:

This property is beyond first class. Nothing there is not to like!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel fully deserves its outstanding reputation. Recommended by a friend, our expectations were already high—but the reality exceeded them in every respect.

This is not just a place to stay; it is an experience defined by understated luxury, impeccable service, and an attention to detail that is increasingly rare. The hotel itself is beautifully designed—elegant, refined, and immaculately maintained—striking the perfect balance between classic charm and modern comfort.

The rooms are exceptional. Spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully appointed, with high-quality furnishings and a level of comfort that makes it difficult to leave. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the luxurious bedding to the subtle lighting and quiet atmosphere that guarantees a perfect night’s sleep.

What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the service. The staff are quite simply outstanding—professional, attentive, and genuinely warm without ever being intrusive. Nothing is too much trouble, and their recommendations for dining and exploring Salamanca were excellent. It’s clear they take great pride in what they do, and it shows.

The location is also ideal—peaceful and slightly removed from the busiest areas, yet only a short, pleasant walk to Salamanca’s historic centre. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquillity and convenience.

Breakfast deserves a special mention. High-quality, beautifully presented, and served with the same care and attention that defines the entire experience.

In short, this was an exceptional stay in every sense. It is easy to see why so many guests return time and again. If you are visiting Salamanca and appreciate quality, service, and a more personal, boutique feel, this hotel is quite simply one of the very best choices available.

El mejor hotel de Salamanca
Pros:

A mi parecer, sin duda ninguna el mejor hotel de Salamanca, IMPECABLE el trato desde el segundo uno. Habitación limpia y cada día siempre sorprendían con algo nuevo en la habitación, desde el tiempo que iba a hacer al día siguiente, hasta comida en el salón. Merece cada céntimo que se paga en el alojamiento. Son unas personas súper simpáticas y cercanas

Pros:

Es un Hotel Boutique de 14 habitaciones TOP. Nos hemos alojado en una habitación familiar con dos habitaciones y no les falta un detalle. En la habitación de las niñas, por ejemplo, había una PlayStation 5 por si querían utilizarla (lo hicieron). Servicio 5* TOP. Está fuera del centro de Salamanca, si bien se tarda tan solo 8 minutos andando al mismo. El desayuno es buenísimo adaptándose a cualquier necesidad que quieras solicitar. El personal del hotel es excepcional, siempre atentos a lo que necesitas y con una amabilidad excelente y trato exquisito. No puedo decir nada que no nos gustara porque tanto a mi como a todos los miembros de mi familia nos ha encantado la estancia porque ha sido perfecta.
