Enjoyable stay but bedroom heating/lighting beyond our comprehension
Pros:

Enjoyable hotel. Accommodation itself is in modern section of hotel, but many atmospheric relaxing areas in adjoining older sections. Breakfasts very good. Central atrium bar/dining area is so spacious it was chilly at times. Heating and lighting technology in bedrooms was completely beyond us and had to continually call staff to help.

Fabulous historical building and art gallery
Pros:

Everything else. Incredible building that has been beautifully and sensitively restored. Beautiful rooms, easy parking, good breakfast( nice breakfast staff). Loved seeing all the art on the walls, it's as much an art gallery as a hotel. Fabulous place and I'd definitely stay again.

Unwelcoming reception staff. Reception staff were curt and unforthcoming.

Pros:

Extraordinary revision of convent. Very stylish. great staff. wonderful pictures. The historical account of the Francoist concentration camp during the guerra civil was stark and sobering.

El Personal es fuera de serie, profesional humano y con gran experiencia ,algunos llevan mas de 30 años y siempre con una sonrisa, son unos grande embajadores de Leon.
El desayuno es magnífico : unos huevos fritos con puntillas ,bacon crujiente y sonrisa. Se puede pedir más

An excellent choice.
Pros:

The initial impression of the parador was spectacular from the outside. Inside it was an exquisite blend of ancient and modern. Our room was very spacious and well appointed and the communal areas were very special too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend it.

Excellent stay at historic building in Leon
Pros:

We had a chance to stay at San Marcos which I have dreamed since 10 years ago and we really satisfy with it.. Our room is good and spacious, breakfast is excellent. Other than sleeping, we also explore the historic building.
