Hotel Real Segovia

Lovely hotel right in the middle of the pedestrian zone. Staff were helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious and had many options.

The rooms are actually suites. Loved the area and the bars around the place. Location is perfect if you're walking around downtown Madrid! I recommend this hotel.

Great location in the old town and that gives this hotel a lot of positives, but the hotel is tired and needs a refurb in the general areas like they have refurbished the rooms. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is a step back in time but it does the job but it isn’t welcoming.

We stayed at the Hotel Real Segovia for 2 nights in May 2025. The hotel is on a pedestrian street so we opted for valet parking at €18/night which let us drop off the car about 50m away, unpack and then the car was removed to an offsite car park until we needed it again.
The location is in easy walking distance of all the main attractions in the city - the Alcazar is 15 minutes one way and the Aquaduct 10 minutes the other, with the walls, Jewish quarter, cathedral etc being in between.
The rooms are a good size and modern with plenty of sockets, good wifi and a desk and a kettle too! The bathrooms were lovely with a bath included, even in the standard rooms.
We opted fpr breakfast both mornings rather than walking elsewhere and it was a varied selection with cooked as well as buffet options for €12.
Service was friendly and efficient throughout our stay.

Was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was outstanding. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Short walks to important sights. Near Plaza Major with plenty of nice places to eat and drink.

Walking everywhere is a must in this hilly, cobblestone town, so extend your walks at home to prepare for your visit.
