Hyvä vaihtoehto majoitukselle Aronassa
Pros:

Ystävällinen palvelu. Mukava ilmapiiri. Aito Italialainen aamupala. Loistava sijainti.
Ilmastointi piti huoneen riittävän viileanä.
Lentokenttä kuljetuksen sopiminen sujui vaivattomasti.

Cons:

Hotelli on vanhassa rakennuksessa, joten sisustus edusti retro tunnelmaa.
Kirkon kellot ovat melko äänekkäät.

Ottima posizione dell'hotel

Cons:

Mi e' spiaciuto che gli ultimi 2 gg, non ho trovato la carta igenica in bagno(oltretutto mi era finita). Forse chi puliva non se ne e' accorto di rimetterla. Pazienza!

Pros:

La simpatia e l'accoglienza. La gestione è familiare. La mattina trovi per colazione anche una meravigliosa torta fatta in casa. La camera e la biancheria molto pulite.

Cons:

Hotel vétuste
Pros:

Hotel bien situé, proche lac, embarcadère et restaurants.

Cons:

Isolation nulle, on entend le voisin en communication téléphonique à 2h du matin.
Pour moi cet hôtel ne vaut pas plus qu'une étoile voir zéro.
Des travaux sont à prévoir, douche qui s'inonde après 30 secondes.
Propreté moyenne, pas de réfrigérateur, la clim fonctionne mais ancienne.
Pour résumer hôtel vétuste qui peut se permettre de facturer aussi cher pour le merveilleux endroit mais cet hôtel ne vaut pas plus que 40€ or j'ai payé 80 €sans petit déjeuner par nuit car il faut ajouter la taxe de séjour.
C'est bien dommage que les propriétaires ne pensent qu'à encaisser et ne font aucun travaux à éviter car en plus bruyant car pas de double vitrage bien sûr

Cons:

L'hotel è ormai vecchio, non vintage ma proprio vecchio, nel 2026 non si possono presentare camere a quelle condizioni, ci avevano assegnato una camera al secondo piano inaccettabile, dopo le avere insistito ne abbiamo ottenuto al primo piano appena accettabile. La colazione minimal.
Personalmente non ci ritornerei.

Arona at it's best for value and experience
Pros:

I left a review earlier this week but to confirm,
we stayed for 3 nights last week. The hotel is quite small but convenient for the Lago Maggiore and city centre shops and bars.
ALL the staff were friendly and very helpful at all times, the church bells next door didn't bother us as they were silent from 9 pm to 7 am, passing groups were, in the main respectful of making disturbances at night time. I've stayed at three other hotels in Arona over the years but Hotel Spagna was the outstanding one for value for money, great welcome and fantastic staff team especially Rafaela and his team. Yes it's In need of some well planned investment and yes it's a bit basic, we are very happy to recommend and return to the hotel when we return next time.

Cons:

It's rated two star and priced accordingly but in terms of location and great experience we can't fault this lovely hotel.

un tuffo nel passato
Pros:

struttura centralissima e pulita. Personale molto cordiale e caloroso, ottima colazione e ristorante (disponibile su richiesta a pranzo e cena) genuino come non ce ne sono più in giro.

Cons:

la struttura è originale e andrebbe rinnovata almeno nell'arredamento e nel confort delle stanze con oggetti più moderni.

Good for short stay
Pros:

Very good place, the staff was nice, I had posibility to leave my luggage

A little bit noisy, I heard when somebody was walking in the night, and church with its bells as well. Breakfast only italian style.

Pros:

Excellent location, friendly staff, lovely position, spacious room and bathroom.
A typical Italian breakfast is available: yoghurt, fruit, cereal (muesli, corn flakes), toast, jam, cheese spread, cakes, croissants, juice and freshly made coffee.

Décevant, à éviter !
Pros:

L'emplacement

Cons:

Tout est vieillot et à peine entretenu.
Le personnel fait peu d'effort pour parler, et aucun effort en anglais
Lit rustique.
Il faut démonter la chasse d'eau pour la faire marcher.
Le mobilier de la salle à manger est complètement éliminé.
On a l'impression que les exploitants terminent leur carrière et ne font aucun effort pour une éventuelle transmission.
Et le prix n'est pas particulièrement bon marché.

Ci torneremo!
Pros:

Proprietario e personale molto cordiale. Posizione ottima. Una buona colazione! Stanza da letto ampia. Cuscini e materassi comodi. Asciugamani di spugna morbidi. Sono stati disponibili a farci lasciare i bagagli anche durante il pomeriggio della partenza, ringraziamo ancora per la disponibilità. Non è un hotel lussuoso, ma a noi andava proprio bene così. Bagno piccolino ma c'è tutto l'indispensabile, anche il phon. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Cons:

Non c'è l'ascensore, per noi non è stato un problema ma per chi avesse difficoltà motorie è da tenere in considerazione.
