The location of this hotel is very convenient and the staff was genuinely kind which I appreciated.

Cons:

The noise level was a significant issue. The walls seem very thin, and I could hear conversations, doors closing, and general movement throughout the day and night. As a result, I was awake most of the night, every night, and struggled to get proper rest. Not being able to sleep well really impacted my overall experience and enjoyment of my time there. While there are positives, the noise made it difficult for me to fully enjoy my stay.

A lovely weekend staying at the Hotel Alcantara.
Pros:

All of the staff at Hotel Alcantara were incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful - and even gave my daughter some chocolates on her birthday whilst we were there which we were very touched by.
Our room was clean and smelled lovely. Beds were really comfortable and we slept well. We were pleasantly surprised to return each day to find our beds made and the bathroom cleaned - we weren't expecting that on a 3 night stay.
It is easy to walk everywhere in Seville and the hotel is really well placed in Santa Cruz in an old, narrow street full of interesting buildings and a lovely orange shop a few doors away. It is just a few minutes walk to the Alcazar Palace and Seville Cathedral and about a 15 min walk to Plaza de Espana, which is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Lots of good cafes, restaurants, and bars are nearby.
We saw Flamenco de Casa, which takes place in the covered courtyard adjacent to the hotel, and the performance of dance, music, and singing was stunning - it was truly a performance from the soul. We would highly recommend booking a ticket which the hotel residents are given a discount for.
We have only good things to say about our stay at Hotel Alcantara and really hope that we are able to return to Seville again soon and will definitely book to stay there.
Thankyou for making our stay (and my daughter's birthday weekend) so special.

Ar condicionado nao funciona e tivemos que dormir 4 pessoas em 1 quarto apertados pois alugamos 2 quartos e usamos apenas 1. Não consegui apoio do hotel para reembolso de 1 quarto.

Comfortable stay in Seville
Pros:

Great location. Close to the cathedral and most other points of interest in Seville. You can walk everywhere. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Adequate breakfast. Would recommend for a stay in Seville.

Cons:

The only drawback was the location of the room. The single room with the twin bed was the only room on the first floor and it's located RIGHT next to the breakfast area. You leave the room and it's like hey, I've walked right into the middle of the dining area, haha.. That said, it's a comfortable room and the room's soundproofed so it's not a big deal at all. I slept well all four nights.
