The location is excellent, a quiet street but very convenient, central and close to underground station. The bed was very comfortable and staff were helpful and polite. Price was good for a decent, well located, central London hotel. Some nice character touches.
The room was so small! With our luggage (admittedly we had 4 cases), we had to very carefully arrange things to be able to move around the room. It’s a consequence of an old refurbished building.
No wardrobe - that’s ok but the shortage of hangers on the hanging rail was poor. Also, sharing one bottle of shower & hand gel between the shower and basin was a bit stingy.
Frühstück war sehr gut. Sehr gute Lage.

Most of the staff were kind and serviceminded. They were aware of the problems with my room, but they did everything (in their power) to help me. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. Breakfast is decent.
My first night was in a room, with a noisy ventilationmachine outside the window (the level of noise could be compared to a truck drivning outside my window). Unfortunately no other room was available and I had to endure the night (sleepdeprived from travelling) until the next day, where they luckely could find me another room. That night was terribel. A kind-hearted staff helped me to get earplugs in the night, when I went stressed to the reception. I haven't been compensated for the night. You can live with that the rooms are very small (I had 10 m3), but it is tight!. But the floor is uneven, so the drawers and cabinetdoors open up ny themselves, if you dont wedge something in. The poweroutlet are broken/loose - so you have to keep a hand on the hairdryer and the other hand on the plug to dry your hair. The bed-lamp is also loose, and with a broken poweroutlet, it makes it difficult to turn it the right angle to get a light. There is no telephone to the reception, and they use WatchApp (I guess it is cheaper), so when the firealarm started in the night because of some damp in the kitchen, we didn't knew if we should evacuate as no information was send to us (my friend went to the fireescaperoute and the streets, before getting back to the reception).
