Pros:

Staff is very helpful. Restaurant is nice with simple but good enough breakfast. We loved paintings on the restaurant walls but those piece of art from that artist are too expensive to bring home (you can buy some in Bellagio) :) Having safe in the room is a nice addition. Location is very good if you look for amazing views and it is well connected.

Cons:

It is a bit outdated and there is no elevator if you would need one.

good price performance
Pros:

location was good, right next to the boat station and center of Argegno with several restaurants around.

Cons:

it was a bit noisy due to the street in front.

there was some smell welcoming us during check in probably due to the restaurant.

Pros:

It was a good location to get to the touristy spots, with the bus stopping right outside

Cons:

It was quite noisy early in the morning due to road traffic. The breakfast wasn’t great for vegetarians/vegans. It was running till 10am. One day I went down at 9.40am and asked where the usual bread and toasting machine was, I was made to feel I was being an inconvenience. There was still plenty of time for breakfast. I asked if I could have toast and the lady rolled her eyes as she walked off.

Perfect stay to relax and enjoy lake como.
Pros:

Staying at Lake como is an exceptional experience. The most important things for any tourist who doesn’t wish to bother about :
1. Rental vehicle problems
2. Noise in the streets
3. Food problems
4. Safety

I would recommend them to stay at Hotel Argegno.

Take the bus from Como San Giovani C10 or C20 to the hotel and you will arrive right next to the hotel.

While you stay there, the family that runs the hotel takes excellent care of their guests. We got to know the family history and met few members who all share the same love for their guests. The rooms are clean and easily accessible. No hidden costs and the restaurant is just exquisite.

I would recommend it to everyone who chose to stay away from the rush and noise of Como, but near to the city. We would definitely come back.
