Our son and his wife had their wedding here on October 4, 2025 and I cannot sat enough good things about the resort. The staff went above and beyond. The food was excellent. The rooms are stunning. It was a perfect experience.

When we first arrived it didn’t look or feel as nice as the photos . We booked an entry level room as we were staying for 7 nights and it add up. We could not stay in the tiny space for a whole week. We were going to leave and stay at a friends Villa . But David the owner and manager was kind to offer us a much larger room at only €100 more a night . The larger rooms are GORGEOUS newly renovated , roomy. Huge Steam shower and massive two person jet tub. David and his staff along with his Mamma make this hotel very special . It was thur family home and farm year ago. David renovated and turned it into a lovely hotel. There are still some things to iron out . But David the owner really cares and works from Dawn into the night making sure the guest are happy and improving the hotel. We loved our stay and will return.

Colazione ottima e con prodotti freschissimi, abbiamo inoltre consumato 2 cene a "la carte" semplicemente deliziose e sfiziose il ristorante La corte dei Papi non ha nulla da invidiare al ristorante stellato Il falconiere.
Ci torneremo il prossimo anno.

Prachtige locatie niet ver van cortona. We kregen meteen een upgrade naar een kamer met spa. De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk en deed alles om het ons naar de zin te maken. Het restaurant is uitstekend.

I cannot recommend a trip to Relias La Corte Dei Papi enough! The property is beautiful, serene, and idyllic for a Tuscan getaway. We had dinner on site all three nights of our stay, which was always incredible and it was so nice to not have to leave the property. Also during our stay my husband and I took a cooking class with one of their chefs which was so fun and one of the highlights of our trips. David and his entire staff are wonderful and were extremely helpful throughout our stay.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti alla Corte dei Papi approfittando di un’ottima offerta, quindi il prezzo per un 5 stelle è stato molto conveniente. La struttura è bellissima, curata, con un’atmosfera elegante e un grandissimo potenziale. Al nostro arrivo ci è stato fatto un gradito upgrade in un cottage, molto comodo visto che viaggiavamo con il nostro cagnolino. Personale attento e disponibile all’ascolto.

The cuisine rivals every multiple Michelin Star restaurant I have dined at around the world. We experienced a multi course dinner immersed in local integrity and creative clarity. If you’re seeking a dining experience like no other in Tuscany that’s both rooted in tradition and elevated in execution, Relais la Corte dei Papi is the gastronomic destination you must experience.

We had a spa suite because we needed to accommodate our two Daughters. Two beds were placed in our room with plenty of space left for us. The room was spotless and very quiet. We had a warm welcome and were shown to our room quickly.
We had a lot of correspondence with Sophia and Greta before we arrived. We wanted to make sure they knew we would be arriving late due to a late evening flight into Pisa. We also arranged a horse riding experience. Communication was excellent and the holiday was perfect. We stayed for 1 week.
The hotel setting is picturesque and peaceful. The buffet breakfast is plentiful. We ate lunch and dinner and the food was fresh and of excellent quality. The wine was excellent too. David (the owner of the hotel) is always around and is friendly, helpful and passionate about the hotel and the food and wine and it really made our experience here.
We will return.

David was an amazing host who showed us the property, then proceeded to serve us the most incredible meal paired with outstanding wine! A must when visiting Cortona or to have the perfect wedding or event! We loved it! The rooms and property was immaculate and the restaurant should be reviewed by Micheline!

La Corte dei Papi is a true gem and we cannot recommend it enough. We chose to have our wedding here this April, and it was one of the best decisions of our lives. The property is stunning, elegant, intimate, and every detail is exquisite - in both the rooms and common spaces. Most rooms have Turkish baths and/or jacuzzis, making it a romantic stay for couples. However, the most incredible part of the venue is David Papi- the owner who spends every single day on site tending to his guests and welcoming them to his family estate. He goes above and beyond to provide incredible, family like hospitality. We literally cried having to leave the venue and say goodbye to him!! David and his team, especially Sara and Katya, made the whole planning process for our wedding so smooth - every detail was tended to and our guests were enamored with him as well. The food was also incredible- from the creative menu from the restaurant to the exquisite breakfast. I cannot recommend Relais La Corte dei Papi enough and we will certainly be back many times!!

Nice place- but poor breakfast

David and his staff were incredibly welcoming and we had an amazing stay. The staff was very helpful in helping us with bike rentals and dinner reservations and the property was magnificent! Will definitely recommend for anyone looking for a getaway in the Tuscany region and the town of Cortona was also beautiful to explore.
