During this time, and as an alternative, guests will be able to access the swimming pools of Hotel Alto Lido and Hotel Baía Azul, subject to availability. La vista es hermosa
El estacionamiento es limitado y tuve que estacionar fuera, deberian tener suficientos puestos, adicionalmente necesitaba hielo y tuve que pagar por una garra que me dieron el en bar, fue solo un euro pero es algo que deberia estar inluido en los servicios del hotel

La estancia fue sobresaliente, desde el primer momento TODO el personal del hotel se involucró 100% en que todo fuera increíble, desde recepción, servicio, personal de limpieza, piscina, spa. El desayuno es muy bueno, pero hay que intentar evitar la hora punta ya que se forman colas. Personal del hotel 10/10. Recomendamos tratamiento en el spa!
Fue todo muy bien, pero un día nos despertamos con comida de otros huéspedes en nuestra terraza por lo que estaba lleno de palomas... Desde la planta más inferior hasta la piscina hay un gran desnivel escalonado y muchas escaleras, la vista merece la pena pero la subida se hace dura!

The best thing about Hotel Orca Praia (Funchal) is its location and the great sea views. However, I would never stay in that hotel again. We had an incident with our luggage and the direction/management did not care at all. The luck of empathy was astonishing.
We had an incident during our stay at Hotel Orca Praia (Funchal). At arrival to the hotel, we left our luggage in the luggage storage room next to the reception. When we returned to the hotel, to access our room, my partner’s luggage had been taken by mistake by another guest who left to travel to the south of Germany. As a result of this, my partner spent 7 days (the entire holiday) without his clothes and belongings. The hotel did not acknowledge any wrong doing on their part, despite the lack of system to identify luggage at the storage room and to securely handle the luggage to their owners. My partner had to buy some clothes with our own money. The hotel director was dismissive in email communications. He showed an extremely poor customer service and lack of empathy. We did not receive an apology from their side except from one member of the reception staff.
I had never had such terrible treatment as a customer. I do not think this is appropriate for a public establishment, let alone a 4-star hotel. I would never stay here again!
