Renovation of the pool area will be carried out from 07/10/25 to up two weeks. In this period the facility will be close. During this time, and as an alternative, guests will be able to access the swimming pools of Hotel Alto Lido and Hotel Baía Azul, subject to availability. Please note that advance booking is required for both: pool access and the shuttle service.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Die Lage war toll, Zimmer sehr gut. Das Personal im Speisesaal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Der Empfang an der Rezeption war nicht gerade sehr freundlich. Man fühlte sich nicht willkommen. Parkplatz bezahlt man extra 10.- Euro pro Tag und muss mühsam mit dem Schlüssel eine Sperre auf und zuschliessen.
Das Büffet am Abend war mit 40.- Euro recht teuer für das, was es war (Massenabfertigung). Da haben wir in anderen Hotels auf der Insel günstigere und wesentlich schönere Buffets genossen.
Beautiful views, friendly helpfully staff, great beach access and a nice pool with plenty of loungers at all times. Very relaxed. Cleaners were excellent and even made sure to clean the balcony of bird droppings.
Sometimes the lifts take a long time as there is only 2 and they are very small. The dinner buffet wasn’t quite worth the €40.

Terrassentüre war meistens nicht mehr verriegelt, wenn wir abends aufs Zimmer kamen. Frühstück erst ab 7h30 möglich, für Wanderungen manchmal zu spät.
Tresor war ohne Schloss bestückt.

Lovely hotel, we had a deluxe room , comfy beds , large balcony and lovely sea view.
Very clean , good breakfast . The shuttle bus is good , we booked it the night before online. The bus drops you at the port in Funchal.
The pool area is lovely and clean and the snack bar food is very good.
The only reason we wouldn’t go back is the challenging steps down to the pool /bar and promenade although we did it most days we did struggle coming up again especially in the heat.
