During this time, and as an alternative, guests will be able to access the swimming pools of Hotel Alto Lido and Hotel Baía Azul, subject to availability. За один вид с балкона уже можно ставить 10 баллов! Зимой можно было и закатами любоваться. Любезный персонал, отличные, разнообразные завтраки, прямо мимо отеля проходит променад, примерно 3 км пешком до Фуншала
Возможно, дороговат ужин шведский стол - 40 евро. Но на променаде внизу несколько неплохих ресторанов, особенно понравился Dona Nina, уже после туннеля, ближе к центру Фуншала
Beautiful ocean panorama from a nice spacious room with big terrace or panorama restaurant.
Downtown of Funchal can be reached easily by local or hotel bus, taxi.
Staff were very friendly and supportive with us ( reception, restaurant, housekeeping).
We enjoy our whole stay.
Generally we were satisfied with half board food.
The food choice of breakfast can be improved a little bit ( cheese, more dried fruits & cereals, cooked oat porridge, vegetable creams i.e hummus, etc.)

Die Lage am Meer ist außergewöhnlich . Allerdings muss man gut zu Fuß sein. Sehr schöne Zimmer mit tollem Balkon oder Terrasse. Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel. Gute Lage um Wanderungen zu starten.
Eier aus der Tüte, Spiegelei im Fett eher gekocht als gebacken. Zu wenig Käse oder Quark. Das Frühstück hat Luft nach oben, aber man kann immer etwas finden. Die Platzierung durch den Saalchef finden wir in der heutigen Zeit unangemessen. Die Zimmer haben keine Schublade oder Fach außer im Schrank. Das ist Zuwenig für längere Aufenthalte.

The staff was amazing, they made my birthday super special and went above and beyond and were super accommodating when our flight was cancelled and we had to stay another night. Great location, you can really relax and disconnect as well as enjoy and explore the island.
to be honest, everything was great
I stayed here recently and absolutely loved the location. The room had a big balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean — perfect for relaxing any time of day. The beach was just steps away, making it super easy to spend the whole day by the water. It was a peaceful and convenient spot, ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the coast. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!
Breakfast was good, but we didn’t enjoy the lunch as much. The food could definitely be improved. We also requested a late checkout by an hour, which was approved, but unfortunately our room access was automatically locked at the regular checkout time. It was resolved quickly after we contacted the staff, but it was a bit inconvenient.
