Renovation of the pool area will be carried out from 07/10/25 to up two weeks. In this period the facility will be close. During this time, and as an alternative, guests will be able to access the swimming pools of Hotel Alto Lido and Hotel Baía Azul, subject to availability. Please note that advance booking is required for both: pool access and the shuttle service.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. V okolí je hodně holubů, tak pozor na sušení oblečení na balkóně.

Overall, the hotel was good and comfortable for our stay. The pool area was nice, clean and relaxing, and it was convenient that the hotel provided pool towels free of charge. We also liked that the hotel had parking available - it was paid, but still very practical and convenient, especially if you travel around Madeira by car.
The hotel itself felt calm and suitable for a relaxing stay. It is not in the most central part of Funchal, but this also makes the area quieter. For guests who have a car or do not mind using transport, it can be a good option.
The breakfast was quite standard, similar to what you usually get in many European hotels. It was okay, but it was almost the same every day, so after a few days it felt a bit repetitive and could be more varied.
The location was not the most convenient for visiting the main places in Funchal, as the hotel is a bit far from the city centre and the main attractions. It is better if you have a car or are ready to use taxis or public transport.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel, der Balkon bietet einen Traumhaften Blick über das Meer..Der Pool ist sehr sauber, und es gibt einen Zugang zum Atlantik und einem tollen Sandstrand. Pool Bar ist auch vorhanden. Frühstück ist reichhaltig, allerdings werden die Tische zugewiesen.
Der Empfang war durch Elisabetha sehr unfreundlich. Zum Glück ist ihr Kollege dazu gestoßen und hat ihre Inkompetenz und absolute Unfreundlichkeit durch ein Zimmer Upgrade wieder gut gemacht. So einen unmögliche Begrüßung wie von dieser Dame haben wir noch nie auf unseren Reisen erlebt.
Lokalita hotelu je naprosto bozi. V noci muzete celou noc poslochat ocean. Nadherne vyhledy. Krasny bazen a moc mily a napomocny personal. Snidane bohate a chutne. Urcite bych se do hotelu vratila.
Pokoj byl prostorny, ale chybeli vesaky. I v koupelne jich bylo malo. Malo raminek a policek ve skrini, chybel botnik. Vetsinu veci jsme nechali v kufru, abysme se vesly. Velmi prostorny balkon, na kterem nebylo zrovna pohodlne sezeni, ale chapu, ze z duvodu promenliveho pocasi a povetrnostnich podminek se nevyplati investovat do niceho lepsiho. Horsi parkovani, parkoviste je placene a musite mit stesti, ze budou mit misto, asi 4-5 parkovacich mist je podélné parkovani v kopci. Kdyz neulovite parkovani primo v hotelu, musite parkovat na hlavni silnici, coz je ve vecernich hodinach temer nerealne.
