Positives: clean, modern, well furnished, comfortable, lovely (small) pool areas both inside and outdoor at the top of the hotel with lovely views, toiletries, robe, slippers, hairdryer, water, fridge and kettle in room
Location: 1 hour walk to Porto, local area has everything you need to eat, drink and shop. Building site right next to hotel which our room looked out on
Negatives: staff were not friendly or helpful and quite rude. More hooks needed in the bathroom and glass doors do not offer privacy. Breakfast was basic. Bar and restaurant overpriced. More loungers needed at both pools, bean bags were not pleasant at the outdoor pool.
Why this isn’t a 5*: Breakfast: you have to pay extra for things which are usually included at buffet breakfasts and what was there was minimal. No balcony. No coffee machine in the bedroom, awful instant sachets. Mini bar contents were not included, they were no extras to make this a 5* experience.

Not a great location for getting around as uber and bolt take a really long time to arrive there.

Definitely would not consider this a 5 star hotel by any means.maybe 3 at best. For the price, i wouldn't say its worth it.

Gym was massive but had no equipment. Indoor pool was nice but limited facilities. Rooftop bar was always empty and could actually be nice if they played calmer music and dialed down the disco lights.

Beautiful property and great service. Only thingi is I would bring up is some of the charges.

The room was great. The rooftop pool was super rad! Proximity to coast was nice. The staff was solid.

Close to public transport to the city and beaches at Foz.

Roof top bar is a nice spot but if you dont get a bean bag, the chairs up are not at all comfortable.

Very good hotel and friendly staff! Great facilities. There are super markets and a laundro mat close by. 10-15 minute car ride to the main river.

The lobby area was immaculate and the staff very friendly, polite and helpful. There were plenty of staff at the front desk so we never waited more than a minute to be seen. The room was spacious and clean and got cleaned to a high standard every day by the cleaning staff. Room service was great as was the food in the restaurant. The pool area was good except the choice of seating was geared more towards the younger generation, myself and my partner found the 'chairs' a little uncomfortable and the beanbags to low to get to. The music in the pool area was ok but the volume way too loud.

I did not feel safe to walk around the outside of the building.
It was good that someone was at the door to feel supported from the homeless around.

The hotel was really great, the staff very courteous. The breakfast buffet meal allows you to last until at least noon. There are buses next door. Overall it's in 8/10

Nice hotel! Very clean, excellent breakfast and dining. 100 % recommended.

Horrendous odour in the room moment we walked into our room. Maintenance showed up as soon as we were entering our room, once they realized it was our room, they said no problem, we can enter. We asked if anything was wrong, they said no. As soon as we entered it was difficult to breathe. I explained to the front desk. Told it will be looked at. I explained I wanted another room, that we can’t stay in there. Was told all rooms were booked. Then I said I am leaving. Once she realized I was serious, we were given another room. Very musty, no charging ports. View from our window were homeless encampments. I guess that puts thing in perspective? We shouldn’t be too picky, about these details????? Do not recommend.

Hotel was modern and had a nice vibe, especially the lounge and pool areas. The staff were quite rude and off putting. The noise was an issue, both externally with building works and the maids banging outside and in nearby rooms very early - not at all relaxing for someone one on holiday. Food in restaurants was excellent and fairly priced.

Great amenities and excellent staff.
