Comfortable, welcoming hotel in a great location
Pros:

Centrally located with secure parking garage and very welcoming and helpful staff. We booked a family room as (when we went) it was only a little more than a standard double. Clean and well equipped, not a modern hotel with slightly dated decor, but we enjoyed our stay.

Jedno z najlepších ubytovaní na Camino del Norte.Čisto,pohodlie,raňajky výborné,personál maximálne ochotný.V hoteli nie je úplná klasická reštaurácia,ale cca 150 metrov od hotela je vynikajúca reštaurácia,kde majú výborné ryby.

Excellent location in the centre of town near the river. Very helpful staff, with far better English than my Spanish. Nice spacious room and comfortable bed, with no disturbances during the night (while the hotel is on a main street, it's semi-pedestrianised with only a few slow vehicles and the sound insulation was good). The breakfast (which wasn't included in the room rate but you choose yourself off a long cafe-style menu) was very good. The hot chocolate was amazing (and there were multiple varieties on offer). Llanes itself is lovely - nice old town, picture-perfect beach and wonderful cliff-top walks. For a small place, there's a large selection of restaurants and cider-houses.

Cons:

If you're vegetarian, stress that you really don't eat any meat because, even if you ask for plain scrambled egg, it comes with ham in it.
