Only One Night,But A Good One
Pros:

Situated in a pretty park right in the middle of Gijon this is a relatively modern Parador on the site of an old watermill.
We had one night here and like all Paradores, the room was spotlessly clean.
The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent

Ihana tunnelma, kivasti vanhanaikainen. Oli vaihteeksi kiva käyttää ihan oikeaa avainta huoneen oveen. Herkullinen aamiainen, vaikkakin tarjoilija unohti tuoda minulle tilaamani munakkaan.

Cons:

Pidin kaikesta. Hotellin parkkipaikka oli täynnä, mutta kadulta löytyi tilaa.

Het personeel is vriendelijk en spreekt goed Engels. Het hotel wordt netjes schoongemaakt en de uitstraling is klassiek.

Cons:

Helaas moeten we ons aansluiten bij andere commentaren. Het voelt allemaal wat sleets. Veel details in de hotelkamer zijn niet netjes afgewerkt. Veel hoekjes en randjes op de vloer zijn niet schoon. Het ontbijt werd op zich goed verzorgd, maar het brood was oud en uitgedroogd en de omelet die we bestelden was koud, blijkbaar lag die al klaar.

Disappointed especially considering cost.
Cons:

In bar, sign said no serving at bar, served st table only. We were totally ignored by the staff.
Evening meal ok but limited choice. Told breakfast at 7.30, but at 7.30 nothing was ready, therefore we limited food available

Genügend Parkplätze und ruhig gelegen. 10 Min. Spaziergang zur schönen Strand Promenade. Gute Betten. Gutes Frühstück wenn auch etwas altmodisch. Mitarbeiter alle nett und freundlich

Cons:

Das Hotel ist definitiv in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Soft-Renovierung könnte viele Verbesserungen bringen. Alles etwas altmodisch, auch das Frühstücksangebot.
