The location was spectacular. The hosts, Nello, Rosa, and Anna were so helpful. They provided us with all kinds of ideas as to how best to see the sights. The breakfast was perfect. You could enjoy your cappuccino from the hotel balcony overlooking the beautiful scenery below. It was a convenient walk to the shopping areas, docks, and beach. The kitchen and rooms were immaculate. They know how to run a B&B!
No complaints. It was our best stay out of six Italian cities.
My sisters and I stayed at Villa Lara 5/18/26 - 5/21/26 first time in Italy celebrating my 40th birthday. The hotel is perfectly and centrally located to the Amalfi center. Walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, busses and boat/ferry pier. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. You do have to climb 2 sets of stairs with your bags (with an elevator in between each set) but it seems that's all of Italy, lol. We requested a triple twin bed room which we did get. The room was fairly small and the beds are super close together which was no problem for us, the only challenge was 3 girls 3 suitcases with little space so we worked/lived out of our suitcases. The size of the room when it's for sleeping and showering really didn't matter to us, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION did!! The staff are super friendly and assist with anything you need! Breakfast was included and did not disappoint. We would stay here again if we land the opportunity to visit the beautiful Amalfi coast again :)
(Side note: I accidentally left my AirPods behind in our room when we traveled to our second destination (Tuscany) and they shipped them to my home in the USA with no issue and they arrived before I did :) ).
Beautiful property and facilities in a quieter part of town, up just far enough away from the crowds. Beautiful views, aided with a lift from the street to reception (only 2 short flights of stairs) and a lovely breakfast to start the day. Very friendly and helpful hosts - a delightful place to stay in Amalfi.

This hotel villa is AMAZING in location (high above Amalfi with a view of the coast), lovely rooms and breakfast! Staff was very helpful and spoke good English. Access from street level is either 200 steps straight up or an elevator in minutes.

Gute Lage und sehr schöne Aussicht auf Amalfi. Personal sehr freundlich. Parken direkt am Hotel war sehr gut.
Zimmer war leider nicht sauber. Haare lagen noch immer Zimmer und Bad.

L’accueil et la gentillesse du personnel furent remarquables. Propreté impeccable, calme, idéalement situé. Les conseils de visite et de restaurant ont été très appréciés. Petit clin d’œil « au Magicien » pour son humour et sa bonne humeur… « Et voilà » !😂 Petit déjeuner copieux avec vue panoramique de la terrasse 😎🤩
pas de possibilité de stationnement à proximité de l’établissement, hormis le parking payant privé à 35€ la journée !
I loved Rose and Nello. Every morning I had the most wonderful conversations with BOTH of them. Rosa was always asking about our day before and what the plans were for the day. Nello educated me on life... Loved them both!!!
