Quiet hotel, clean rooms, lovely staff, beautiful location. Breakfast has excellent choices. Bedroom is clean, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The views are breathtaking. Very happy with the choice of hotels.
Dated hotel with poorly functioning air conditionining system and uncomfortable mattress. Not the best breakfast.
Perfect in every way. We are returning guests for several years now. Let’s start with the very welcoming crew that is always friendly, and is able to handle all requests quickly and to satisfaction, both at the reception, housekeeping and in the restaurant. Excellent cuisine: original taste, surprising, excellent ingredients. Excellent cooking and all dishes excellent, alwaysExcellent facilities: restaurants, pool, gardens, fitness and wellness if you wish, and a good beach with easy access and tides right next to the hotel premises. This is a place where you can relax and enjoy so many things. Stunning sea and sunset views with daily changing colors and landscapes as a backdrop. Cleanliness is excellent throughout rooms, and collective areas, inside and outside. So, all in all, we have had again a perfect stay. One can only think of how much attention the management and crew must be giving to alll details to constantly to maintain this quality.
Especially the staff at the restaurants does a great job: they are motivated, get the job done very well, deliver consistent quality, and we are lucky to have some great conversations with them. The younger ones are excellent too: dedicated, friendly, and they go the extra mile.
Who stays at Almadraba but does not have lunch and dinner at the hotel misses out a lot and will get less value. If we have the opportunity, we will surely return, eyes closed.
Some reviewers have complained about some price raises. Well, this is a general trend in all of the EU so the hotel is not to blame. I am glad this family business has survived the pandemic period, while so many haven’t, preserving Almadraba and his culinary heritage in Catalonia and the Empordá.
Cadre exceptionnel
The location is wonderful. The breakfast was great. Had a great time relaxing by the pool and at the beach next door. Also did some walking on the trail along the water and took in the views on the nearby hills. If I went back to this area I would stay again. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Had some loud neighbors and staff addressed the issue with no problems.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully situated hotel with its long tradition of hospitality on the Costa Brava. It was a particular pleasure to be able to choose between sitting by the enormous pool and walking down to a pretty beach. The food in the restaurant and bar was delicious, and there is a very good wine list which includes a selection of reasonably priced local wines. We are especially grateful to Eda, who was exceptionally charming and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is an ideal place to relax and we shall definitely return.
The reception staff is the most helpful and nice I ever encountered, and I travel on average 4 times a year at least in 4-5* hotels.

You will see or read about the great location and views - I will tell you what surprised me that I wish I found before booking.
I am a germ freak and I disinfect everything when I arrive - not a single thread of dust in the room, the cleaning is above and beyond.
So many times we pay a big buck - and not get these little things like excellent cleaning.
Also - the fact that I can make the room dark to protect from heavy sun or light in the morning.
The fact that there is no noise - the doors are pretty sound proof - at least where I am at.
This is gold - these tiny little details that can ruin a vacation, like too much noise and not being able to sleep.
There might be spent hinge to improve not because they are not good already…

But I am so so so so satisfied with my stay here that I am writing a review while I am here and I am just so pleased and pleasantly surprised.
I recommend this hotel - for the tiny things that make a difference and the big things like view and location.
It is breathable - you are not overcrowded like in a big chain.
There is a free private parking.
Dogs are allowed.
Clean and efficient - what I expect even more than “just nice”.
Recommended for Swiss people who appreciate the beauty in the good details.

AC didn’t work and couldn’t sleep, staff wasn’t helpful, overpriced
Bel emplacement de l'hotel, propre et bon service en chambre.
Coté restauration, en dehors du petit-déjeuner, les options de restaurations ont un très mauvais rapport qualité/prix. Les plats sont bons, mais beaucoup trop chers. Le pire c'est le bar, qui permet de manger également, mais le service y est globalement pas du tout à le hauteur, un enfer.
Nous avions réservé (car indiqué par les serveurs comme nécessaire) en réalité pas de table pour nous en arrivant, en suite nous avons commandé 4 plats pour avoir un assortiment de tapas en grignoter, nous avons été servis un plat à la fois, plus d'une heure et demi après la commande. L'excuse du chez de salle, "ce n'est pas comme dans le restaurant gastronomique, les plats arrivent quant ils sont près".
J'ai jamais entendu pareille excuse dans un restaurant, manger chacun son tour sur la meme table ... quelle blague.

Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées. Les occupants de la chambre au dessus de la notre ont remués les meubles le soir et le matin.
Situation exceptionnelle. Plage , promenade, randonnée. Tous est disponible. Également un grand parking. Petit déjeuner copieux. Chambre vue sur mer exceptionnelle

amazing property except for who runs it. He will ruin your vacation. I do not recommend.
No food after 10 pm as all restaurants close. Can’t bring food from outside. No extention of stay.Misleading customer by advertising free spa for two through Expedia but then they deny at check in.
Do not go there under this circumstances.
Property denied my vip acess and denied free spa for two.
When expedia rep called they hang up on her.
Very disappointed from this property management: We have been mislead and subject to very very bad decisions by manager.
1. Property manager insisted this is a 5 star hotel while it is a 4 star property.
2. Hotel have denied our Expedia Vip access give away of Spa for two. While it is clearly stated in my reservation. See picture.
3. Hotel amenities are very poor. 2 Restaurants close at 10 pm sharp and guest are not allowed to bring food in from outside.
4. Expedia have called to sort this matter and hotel management hang up the phone on them.
5. I have 2 kids with me here and still got refused to feed my family.
While Rosas is a beautiful town and i recommande to visit. this hotel i do not recommande anyone to book at under this current management.

Our stay was fantastic! We never left the property spending the days relaxing at the pool and the beach. The staff was attentive and the food, delicious.
Almadraba Park nailed it again and offered us a splendid stay in terms of hospitality, service, excellent culinary experience. The perfect place to unwind, enjoy the summum of catalan cuisine, access to sea, beaches, gardens, options for daytrips, bar, pool, restaurants, parking, EV loading and much more. Just a great place run by great people. Would love to give perfect 10 starts, but sadly Tripadvisor only allows five. We are returning guests and will be returning again!!

Ubicacion espectacular con vistas a la bahia de Roses i la playa de Almadrava. Piscina grande .Terrazas a la sombra de los pinos. Camino de ronda accesible. Comids de lujo en el restaurante. Desayuno excelente.
