Could not make it to the hotel because one of the people in the party got very ill.
With your help we tried to change the date of stay, but the hotel refused, citing terms and conditions.
We will be going to that area of the Country again. We will not stay in that hotel

Bra hotell med pool som bas för utflykter!
Pros:

Fint hotel som bas för vandring i bergen. På gränsen till Frankrike, så sväng inte fel med hyrbilen om du inte får lämna Spanien!
Otroligt hjälpsam personal.
Ok spansk frukost. Kallskuret, yoghurt bröd lite frukt och kaffe Tea juice.
Vi prova inte restaurangen, utan gick på hotellets rekommenderar. Jättebra restauranger uppe i centrum.

Bra utomhuspool där vi lämna tonåringen när hon inte ville vandra i bergen.

Smidigt hotell med parkering, nära till utfarten ut stan.

Hotellet ligger ca 800 m från centrum. Dock med 70 höjdmeter upp till stan. Enkelt när vi gick hem, tuff backe till centrum.


Vi kommer tillbaka.

Pros:

The Hotel del Prado is truly wonderful. The staff are helpful and kind, the hotel and rooms are comfortable and clean, and the hotel has a wonderful yard and an indoor lounge for relaxing. The location is convenient for activities in and around Puigcerda. And there is a full-service restaurant on-site. Enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this hotel.

Nice garden, charming hotel, average stay.
Pros:

We arrived after a long day on road bikes. Cold and tired we were were looking forward to relaxing in the featured jacuzzi. This was closed and staff were unable to heat sauna. Pool was freezing. Apart from this the stay was ok. Staff was friendly. Rooms clean. Covid-restricted breakfast unimpressive but ok.

Pros:

I would like to stay at this hotel again, but on the far side from the road. The good: the pool and garden are lovely spots. The less good: during summer, there is no AC in the room so you have to open the windows. The traffic on the nearby road was so loud at times that I couldn’t hear somebody else in the room talking. At night the outside traffic made it difficult to sleep. I’d stay again if I knew I could sleep away from the buildings or anytime besides summer.

Weekend in Puigcerda
Pros:

Nice hotel.
Wifi was patchy and didn't work in our room.
Initially put in twin room although we booked a double. We were moved quickly but to a smaller room with a shower in the tub that you couldn't get under to shower properly.
Towels not changed each day and shower gel etc. not replenished over the three days stay.
Food and service in the hotel restaurant was excellent though.

This hotel was a real find. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and roomy. The hotel garden, tho not big had plenty of tables and chairs. The restaurant staff were particularly helpful when explaining the menu and the food when it arrived was excellent. The hotel is a little out of the way, but if you take the time to walk into the centre, it is well worth the effort with lots of shops, bars and cafes.

Pros:

We stayed for one night. We had a nice room. I guess my only issue was the timing of service. We tried to get drinks in the afternoon, and finally was successful, but to order anything else, took too much time. Dinner was great, but again it seemed to take awhile to get our bill.

Hotel was fine for a one night stay, but was on the edge of Puigcerda and about 30 minutes uphill walking to get into town. Not particularly convenient to stay there without a car.
