Easy to find, clean room, room was quiet, no noise really helpful as I’m sometimes a light sleeper.

It was very close to where we was going for two days
The staff were really good. Because of a problem with out room, Bethany tried two others for us but in the end, none of them were fully functioning so we stayed where we were but she tried very hard to do what she could.
The bed was very, very soft and creaky. Can't imagine how old it was.
Only had one bedside light and that kept flickering so obviously had an electrical fault. Not good.
The safe didn't work, we think due to dead batteries and because no maintenance person available, nothing they could do apart from put our things in the office safe.
The cold water dribbled out, very strange. The hot water was fine once it came through but goodness knows how much water we wasted waiting for it. Considering the hotel is all about being eco, they need to sort some maintenance issues out first. With no maintenance person available over the weekend, we had to manage with our faulty bedside light which was a bit scary being to do with electricity.
The two strip lights in the bedroom and bathroom didn't work.
We had Hunter's Chicken the second night. It was so tough it must have been cooked an hour or two before and then heated up for us or left under a heat lamp. No, we did not complain. It was 8pm and we were hungry so wasn't going to wait another half hour or so for another one.
The two other rooms offered also had faulty safe's so, as we'd already unpacked everything, we stayed where we were, otherwise we'd at least have moved to a room that had working bedside lights and possibly better beds etc.
All in all it was very, very disappointing. As I said, the girls on reception were very apologetic, even though nothing was their fault, and they did all they could to try and sort some issues out, but to no avail. Bethany and Karen were very, very friendly and helpful and are a credit to your hotel.

The staff were really nice and welcoming
We were in a room down a dark corridor. There seemed to be people living in some of the rooms as there were door mats and things stuck on the doors. From outside you could see personal items stacked in the windows. I felt it was the staff quarter or a part of the hotel out of the way for residents. I wouldn’t want to stay down that end alone.
Bed was fairly comfortable.
Curtains were falling off, when you turned the tap on it came out so fast I got soaked.
