Excellent location, lovely room with balcony overlooking the green, and with a view of the sea. Loved the area lots of places to eat, short walk to the lanes. Perfect !

The location of New Stein is amazing! Herve was the ultimate host and welcomed us so warmly.
He was even kind enough to chill some champagne we had for visiting friends.
The room was fantastic, very comfortable and quiet, we slept like babies! Everything you really need is in the room.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. 2 modern fans in room which were adequate on a warm summers evening. Comfortable beds. Quiet and very central location. Nicely decorated.
The bathroom could do with modernising a bit, but it was fine for one night. No view from our particular room which was a shame but not a deal-breaker.

Location was good but I was sold the idea of private parking, not here's a token, which is £10 extra (in cash), but you'll have to hunt round on the off-chance of finding a space ! The room itself was clean and well presented. Bathroom facilities were good.
We arrived to do the British Heart foundation ride, so early start (4.30am). We spoke to the owner that we'd obviously miss the 1st morning's breakfast because of this. He didn't offer a take away breakfast ! but no matter, we came back after the ride and woke the 2nd morning to get breakfast at 9.40am (20 minutes before breakfast finishes) only to be told that breakfast was not available anymore and that his friend would give us 10% off if we'd go there instead !!! He said we should have told him we wanted breakfast even though I'd paid for it and he knew we'd missed the first one because of the bike ride's early start !!!! Didn't want to argue, so my daughter and I left before the end of the breakfast period ! A poor ending to what was a nice weekend away with my daughter.
The location is perfect. Walking distance to the seaside and many attractions, restaurants, etc.
The staff were friendly and so helpful. When our ride canceled, John went out of his way to help us get another.
There is no air conditioning. The window in our room provided a breeze that kept us comfortable. There was a fan in the room, but it wasn't very effective.

Shower wasn't powerful the head was rusty. The glasses were dirty in the room dusty above curtain rail. Breakfast not a great selection and scrambled eggs not the best
