1st room dirty was moved
2nd room lovely was outside main hotel in a annex of e rooms. All ok until 2am and.was awoken by anither guest screaming was going to kill people and himself called reception numerous time bothin until the police arrived! Then moved around 3.30am to another room! My 2 daughters were absolutely petrified.

Pros:

A large comfortable room and a location close to the sea and town centre made this very good value. Service at breakfast and the quality of the food left a little to be desired, but the posters and artefacts added to the enjoyment of staying there.

Lovely hotel would stay again
Pros:

Lovely staff clearly trying to run a good hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Nice comfy hotel. Showers are what they are could be better. Beds comfy always a pleasant stay, we’ve stayed many times long time return customer!

Cons:

Room was missing a mirror.
New £50 security deposit which goes into pending transaction upon arrival I understand you are trying to improve the hotel but warning to your guests prior to arrival would have been better

Pros:

Welcome from staff was genuine. Parking facilities are great. Cleanliness of bedroom and bathroom was to a high standard. Deposit returned on the day off check out, no issues.

Cons:

The heating was on very high and we were very warm overnight even with the windows open in February. Not a complaint in anyway, just an observation for other guests and information for the hotel.

The celebrity theme was interesting, someone has put slot of thought into it.

Cons:

We booked through booking.com last minute and paid through booking.com, we were told on arrival that we hadn’t paid although we had and showed the reception staff the multiple references within the app that confirmed we had paid. We were at reception at 12:30 am until 1:30am arguing with the staff member who ultimately told us that unless we paid (again) he wouldn’t let us in. So we were effectively on the street unless we paid twice, which we ended up doing. They did issue a refund the next morning and apologised but really not enough. The bathroom was disgusting, like it hasn’t been changed since the 70’s, turquoise toilet and hideous tiles, cold water tap didn’t seem to work either, which didn’t matter as the hot water tap was barely hot enough to shower in.
