Friendly staff. Good price for a single room in a boutique style hotel.
Breakfast quite basic for the price.
All perfect, loved the room and superb service by the staff. The position is very convenient, close to the subway and in front of the National History Museum. Many restaurants are in close proximity as well.
The wifi worked poorly all over my stay.
Lovely, very clean, comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast.
Beautiful as they are, it was windy so the sash windows rattled a lot. Not the hotels fault as such, but was a bit annoying.
Comfortable , clean and tastefully decorated
Breakfast service was poor. Had get up and ask for everything. Waiter didn’t look like he wanted to be here and cook out in corridor sniffing showing everyone that she had a cold
Absolutely fantastic location - very clean and staff couldn't do more for us . Made it really feel like home! Couldn't recommend it more ! Excellent stay !!!
Nothing
Location
Noise transference from neighbouring rooms (I was in Room 10)
Some sound proofing is required
Excellent hotel
All good
Great location, small but comfortable rooms. Pleasant helpful staff.
Room got a bit hot in the night despite setting air con on 20’
A small hotel very quiet and well maintained in a great position for the main attraction in west London.
They “ upgraded “ my booking with a room in the basement. If you prefer the upper floors it’s better report before you stay.
The heater in the room was turned off
Clean, quiet, wonderful staff.
Unfortunately, the walls are a bit thin. I typically travel with ear plugs, so I had no trouble, but just a heads up for light sleepers.
sehr gute Zimmer, Sauberkeit, Lage, Personal
Incredibly comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and friendly service. Ideally placed if visiting Royal Albert Hall.
An optional service charge is pre-authorised on arrival - you can choose to confirm at check out.
I meant to write a review immediately because this place was about as perfect for me as it gets - and for a price which in Edinburgh would get you something really not very nice not very near the centre.
This was bang in the centre of one of the most attractive parts of London, opposite the Natural History Museum, a stone's throw from Kensington Gardens and the Albert Hall and incredibly convenient for public transport. There was always a responsive and helpful person at reception and when I expressed uncertainty about the key card I was shown how it works. The room was very comfortable and the shower effective and easy to use. I felt thoroughly safe and looked after and, for a hick from the sticks (Scottish Borders) in central London that is saying something. It was also surprisingly quiet. When I next need to go to London I will go straight back to 54 Queens Gate.
Hotel op mooie locatie in Kensington. Volledig gerestaureerd en gemoderniseerd gebouw uit de laat 19e eeuw. Mooie ruime kamer met nette, nieuwe badkamer. Verder weinig faciliteiten. Ontbijt beetje beperkt en primitief
Ontbijt een beetje beperkt en primitief. Onverwachte extra ‘service charge van 3,7%
i reserved two rooms accidentally. It was a clear human error. Unfortunately hotel management and bookings.com were not accommodating or receptive to my problem. I did not get an extra room and was not credited either. Huge loss and poor customer service
The management of the hotel was not accommodating. I had a minor reservation issue and it was not dealt with on human level. Management of the hotel had no understanding of customer service. I will never stay there or use bookings.com
