We had 3 rooms booked and really enjoyed our stay. A little gem for the price. We will be back.
Pros:

As said in other reviews, the property is dated but it is ideally located on Main Street, it is really clean & staff are friendly and will assist with any requests.

Great location. Friendly staff
Pros:

Great location, in the city centre and a short walk from the train station. Despite this, my room (at the back of the hotel) was quiet. Very friendly staff. Always somebody at reception. Room was a good size. Good quality towels and bed linen. Coffee & tea in room. Overall, I was satisfied with the room.

Cons:

The hotel would benefit from some redecoration and modernising. Dated decor and showing signs of wear & tear. However I appreciate this is a family owned hotel, not part of a big chain, and these are difficult times for the hospitality industry. For a 2* hotel, it was as I'd expect

Ok for a very short cheap Cardiff stay .
Pros:

It was right in Cardiff city centre. Next to all the shops and restaurants.
The staff was lovely .
It was cheap considering its location , ok for a night or 2.
The towels were very white and clean

Cons:

The shower and the Tv ,was not working. Had to take a bath . The bed I could feel the spring coils sticking in me .
I understand it is a family run businesse but the room I stayed in was very outdated and was in desperate need of repair , . It does not look like any money made has been put back into the business .

Not recommended. Best to avoid.
Pros:

Positives -
Free upgrade from singer to double room. Very comfy double bed. Short walk from rail links and city centre. Easy check in.
Large bathroom, flat screen tv and nice little kettle.

Cons:

Negatives-
Mould everywhere - walls, skirting boards, ceiling, windows.
Windows difficult to open, very unsafe in their fittings, and in need of repair/cleaning.
Bedroom furniture outdated and needs replacing.
Evidence of rust in bathroom, shower rail held up with a small rusty chain (?).
Had to ask for towels on arrival - pillowcase in bathroom acting as a towel. Wallpaper in room warped and peeling off ceiling. Dated carpet.
Entire room needs desperately updating and a thorough clean.
Therefore, not worth the price of an overnight stay despite upgrade.
Won't be staying here again.
And far too many stairs to room, felt like climbing Snowdon.

Το ευγενικό προσωπικό, η Alison και η Ann Marie (αν λέω σωστά τα ονόματα) και η άψογη συνεργασία στις ερωτήσεις μου. Επίσης η τοποθεσία ήταν εξαιρετική.

Cons:

Lovely staff and right in the centre of the city

Very central and the lady on reception was lovely

We stayed on 3rd floor so it’s a lot of steps but that was ok for us.
