Pros:

Great location and friendly staff.

Cons:

This is an old hotel but they tell you that before you arrive, needs re painting and new carpets, but rooms have everything you need. They also advise about the stairs, even to reception!

Cheap, cheerful, clean and dead centre of Cardiff. I stayed one night en route to Cornwall. It was ideal.

Top star for Sandringham hotel
Pros:

Great hotel..top notch staff and Alison was lovely and helpful..great 👍...nothing was to much ..lovely people throughout ..also very clean ..spotless rooms .....the best place to get in amongst everything in Cardiff....I will always stay here .. recommend it 11 out of 10 ..thank you for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing ..regards ..Patty and Lily ..

Pros:

El hotel está en pleno centro de Cardiff, la ubicación no puede ser mejor. La habitación era espaciosa y muy cómoda, además de contar con pava eléctrica y cafecito, que siempre se agradece. El agua caliente salía perfectamente.
El personal es súper amable y muy predispuesto.
Es un edificio antiguo con ingreso por escaleras; para nosotros no fue un problema, pero es algo a tener en cuenta.
Lo único que se podría mejorar es el colchón. Más allá de eso, es súper recomendable.

Fantástica estancia en Cardiff
Pros:

La ubicación es fantástica, en la calle más céntrica de la ciudad, con mucha vida. La habitación está bien, el baño muy amplio, pero la cama no me resultó del todo cómoda, falta algún enchufe extra. El personal atento y muy amable.

Great value for money in the heart of the city
Pros:

Right in the heart of the city, close to all venues and the train station.
The staff were very friendly and couldn’t help more if they tried.
The room was clean and tidy as was the rest of the hotel.

Cons:

Just picky things to be honest, but the pillows were a little uncomfortable (that may be just a personal preference)
No lift and a lot of stairs kust to get to the reception. As someone with hip issues, it may have been good to know this in advance.
The hotel itself was very clean and tidy, but could do with a bit of a makeover to smarten it up.
That said we had a very nice friendly comfortable stay.

Pros:

Very central, perfectly placed. Staff were great, really friendly and very helpful we were made to feel very welcome

Cons:

The area has a lot of bars and clubs so it was noisy until the early hours but we were staying on a weekend night
