Best breakfast we've ever had at a hotel. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Added bonus of pool etc
Nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. I would change the weekend breakfast time to a little earlier, if I had a large coach party in as you did. It was very crowded at 8am and seats were hard to come by.
The only minor problem was that there were no power sockets near the head of the bed. It means my iPhone is across the room at night for charging.
I have problems walking which did not help.
Just a one night stay
Very disappointed that the Spa was closed. My room was a small single room but quite noisy regarding floorboards etc etc
The Shower however was probably the best I've experienced in hotels, a power shower plus !
The hot tub and pool were closed for refurb disappointment as one of the reasons for booking hotel
Never mind the rest of the stay was top notch. Rooms beds and shower all top rate.
Must mention the Breakfasts which were cooked to perfection service in dinning room fantastic.
Whitehouse Premier Inn was in a great lication, right in tye city centre. Parking was easy and not too expensive at £10 per night, lots of spaces when we went on a Saturday night in Sep so there was no need to book in advance. Would definitely stay again.
Very convenient location, right by Foregate St. station and a few mins walk from cathedral. My room was quiet and comfortable but could have done with a refurb - one double socket 3m from the bed is really not enough these days. Decent breakfast but the breakfast room was drab and harshly lit, staff were friendly and welcoming.
Nothing really wrong with this hotel but just not sure if it was value for money.
The room was ideal for my overnight stay. It was clean and well set out with tea and coffee.
Greeted by friendly welcome. Will definitely stay again.
Lovely hotel in great location near train station I asked for a fridge in the room which was supplied at no extra cost room and bathroom were lovely , only disappointment was pool & spa not available at the moment
Our room overlooked the main street and it was so noisy that neither of us slept a wink thanks to the incessantly loud partygooers. I'd advise asking for a room at the rear of the hotel if you want any sleep. Because of this we won't stay again.
A clean, reasonably comfortable hotel, very well placed for Worcs. Foregate station.
The staff were lovely and the breakfast was good. The hotel was tired. Extremely thin bedroom walls. You could hear nextdoor talking as if they were talking in your room. £10 per hour for early check in was a bit steep and it's £10 to park and another £10 if you want to reserve a space. Car park wasn't even that full.
Our stay was completely ruined by the unnecessary discerning manner of the receptionist and the fact that I was told I had booked two rooms and not one which needed to be paid for! I hadn’t, which was confirmed by Hotel.com and my cancellation email, but ended up paying for an extra room anyway which I am still in the process of sorting out. We were there celebrating some incredible news regarding my daughter’s health which was sullied by the dismissive manner of the receptionist and the way we were spoken to and treated. We were not argumentative, rowdy or troublesome but she treated us as if we were! I hope the hotel manager has reviewed any CCTV they may have. The receptionist was reported via hotel.com. She really did let the hotel down as the rest of the staff were lovely and the room was great (didn’t see my other unexpected room but was given the key!) and we had a good nights sleep. In short, hotel has a great location and it’s clean and comfortable but your experience may fall short by whomever greets you on reception!
Enjoyed our 3 night stay with friends. Lovely staff. Rooms comfortable & clean. Good breakfasts with lots of choices tho coffee could be better. Pool was out of action for refurb but will be great when available. Plenty of car park spaces. Good location with shops, restaurants & facilities close by. We are already planning our return visit.
Plus points, staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast was filling, decent quality with standard buffet breakfast options, alongside other items cooked to order. The location of the hotel was good. The small pool/spa area was a nice touch for a little relaxation.
Negatives, the cost of the parking at the hotel, particularly pre-booked spaces. The sleep quality was poor with high levels of noise outside interrupting sleep.
Old building, no air conditioning, bad breakfast.
Very friendly welcome, and free parking in their car park was an excellent addition. Room itself was a little old fashione dand the single glazed windows didn;t shield the road noise/night time chatter very well, but overall it was a very comfortable bed, had the facilities I required but for the price I expected a little more. Breakfast was very good and included and check out was easy. Worcester is a great town, there's a superb Caribbean restaurant near the hotel and a superb micropub in town, well worth a visit.
The hotel was close to all amenities great breakfast clean tidy and a quiet for a great night's sleep
