Good overall
Pros:

It's an old Hotel, so we didn't expect a modern experience, food was good, beds comfortable, ensuite was too cramped, shower good once we learned that it only worked on Eco setting. Nice new, big fluffy towels.

Cons:

Historic hotel in a lovely seaside village, clean room, acceptable comfort and price, good full breakfast and pleasant s
Pros:

Nice big bathtub, view, location, congenial staff at breakfast, historical building, cleanliness, special touch of shortbread in my room.

Cons:

1) I was cold and it took a long time to heat my room but I was able to use the blankets provided.
2) The restaurant food for supper was not of a very good standard. (However, the breakfast was fine.)

Reasonable budget accomodation in a convenient location
Pros:

The hotel is very convenient for the town and the beach. Parking on site was helpful and the rooms were equipped with all we needed. The room was good value with breakfast included, and we liked the view of the sea. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Our room was not well cleaned, with dried splashes from someone else’s tea or coffee still on the desk. The bed sheets were clean but didn’t completely cover the mattress, which also showed some small stain marks. The furniture in both the bedroom and the dining room was very old and tired looking.
