Old School Charm and Service
Pros:

We selected this hotel purely for its locale, close to Paddington Station & reviews were good. It was surprisingly close to Paddington, literally a block away. With luggage in tow, it was great to be so close to the station, making our exit to Heathrow a few days later easy-peasy. In the past, we've always stayed in Kensington but this was so much easier. This is a boutique hotel on a street full of boutique hotels. Directly across the street from a park. I upgraded the room so we had a lovely bed. There was no way to open the windows but there was an overhead fan which we needed. Rooms are small, in that typical European fashion and I didn't see an elevator, so if you can't handle stairs, this won't be the place for you. The staff, however, carried our luggage to the room. They insisted upon it. That was very nice. The staff at this hotel are the friendliest and most helpful of any staff anywhere. They gave us directions to the various theaters we were attending, recommended the best eateries in the neighborhood and always kindly greeted us. The hotel is clean and has an old charm to it. There is plenty of shopping nearby and wonderful walks to take along the canal. A very affordable place in London. Bed was comfy.

Nice central location with good access to metro nearby a lovely park. Small-ish bed for 2 but well doable. For internationals; they have charger ports for USB and USB-C

Lovely hotel.
Pros:

Very nice stay. Comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Good shower. Very attentive staff. 5 minute walk to Paddington.

Friendly staff, excellent location, clean facilities.
Pros:

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Facilities were very clean and well equipped.
Location was perfect, right next door to Paddington station.

Cons:

The single room was tiny, which I expected, so it's not necessarily a criticism, as they have done a great job to make that space usable.
4th floor without a lift was a slog. Not a problem, but worth people being aware of.

Personale davvero cordiale e possibilità di lasciare i bagagli dopo il check-out.

Cons:

Bagno veramente piccolo, non c'è l' ascensore e finestra della camera non isolava molto dal rumore esterno.

Great and helpful staff
Pros:

Every part of the staff I've met, both the owner and various receptionists, were super-friendly and really helpful. The location was wonderful as it's right next to Paddington station. I also had the opportunity to store my luggage there for the day after I checked out :)

Cons:

The Aircondition in our room was off-limits as it's only used during summer. I would have enjoyed using it now in March.

Prime location. Friendly staffs. Clean.
Pros:

The staffs are extremely nice. The room is very clean. The fridge is cooling well. Drinking water is provided in the lobby. They have both heaters and air-con. Few minutes walk away from Paddington station. Front door is lock (quite safe).

Cons:

The bed is a bit small. We found some left over belonging of former visitors (even though the room is clean). They provide only one keycard per adult couple. There is only one-for-all shampoo, simple, no fragrance. The room wall is not sound insulate. Early check-in is £20 for just an hour.

Great location and excellent customer service
Pros:

Close to Paddington station. Excellent customer service.

Cons:

Noisy. The walls and windows are thin. Bring a white noise machine. Lots of stairs. 78 stairs to the 4th floor rooms but they brought my luggage up and down for me.
