Hotel pratique près de la gare
Pros:

Proche de la gare. Personnel sympathique. Très petite chambre et très petite salle de bain, mais qui fait l'affaire pour une nuit, avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Chambre propre.

L'insonorisation du plafond (la chambre était au sous-sol, sous l'entrée)

Great stay, great hotel, great staff
Pros:

The staff was very friendly.
The bed was very comfortable.
The location is great (train station, underground, restaurants and Tesco 8 min away)

Cons:

The bathroom didn't have vent and the door wouldn't close. Very hot even with the fan on.

Not luxurious but perfectly adequate small hotel in great location.
Pros:

Small but adequate room. Very clean with good facilities. Extremely handy for Kings Cross.
Perfect for a short stay in London.
I was grateful to have a fan in the room.

What you pay is what you get
Pros:

Für das Fairway haben wir uns aufgrund der Lage und des Preises entschieden. Für die zwei Nächte in London war das Hotel vor diesem Hintergrund sehr ok. Wir hatten als Familie mit 2 Kindern das 4-Betten-Zimmer im Souterrain. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sehr sauber, soweit es die bauliche Substanz zugelassen hat. Wir waren im Sommer da, weswegen wir uns über den gut funktionierenden (und nötigen!) Ventilator im Zimmer gefreut haben.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war (erwartungsgemäß) sehr klein, das Bad winzig. In der Duschtasse gibt es scheinbar keine Dichtungen, weshalb die Tapette in der Zimmerwand auf Höhe der Dusche leicht bröckelt. Die Fenster können nur geöffnet aber nicht gekippt werden, was im Souterrain mit anliegenden Diensträumen nicht angenehm war.

Good value for money
Pros:

Room was as described and illustrated. Small TV where we could stream own movies to was helpful. Our room faced the courtyard so was not noisy to have window open. We experienced no noisy neighbours. Room is small but that was known in advance.
Location was also known in advance but Kings Cross is really extremely well connected to rest of London for all excursions.
Staff was friendly and offered free luggage storage after check-out

Cons:

The pillows were terrible - one excessively large and another tiny and compact (not even sure this was meant to function as pillow)

Good for a couple of nights. Close to rail links and the shopping/eating areas by Kings Cross/St. Pancras.
Pros:

Close to Kings Cross, St.Pancras , ideal proximity for inter rail travel, comfortable bed, reasonable stowage space, wash hand basin in room. Staff friendly welcoming.

Cons:

Basement room, slightly cramped bathroom, felt isolated from reception, disturbed somewhat by noise filtering from other occupants open window.
