Breakfast was very good, location in pleasant conservatory
I’m happy that the cooked breakfast is cooked and served to order (far better than buffet). However, I would prefer all the other items to be available to diners as a buffet-style, so we could serve ourselves accordingly.
Everything
Nothing
Friendly staff, good breakfast, close to City
Shower over the bath.
Breakfast was lovely, room was clean and comfortable
Restaurant was empty, menu was restricted and what appeared to be microwave food. Ended up eating out at a pub down the road
Off street parking, efficient check in, 10 minute walk to city centre. Clean room, with comfy larger than usual single bed.
Bit annoying to get charged £5 for parking. Single rooms at the front of the hotel do pick up some road noise.
All fine
The hotel is an adapted house and felt a bit dated
Great location close to town and the Assembly House. Reasonably priced on site parking
Although the main building is not accessible there was a ground floor room in the Coach House that was not offered initially
Second time here and will likely be back again in future. Very good location - no more than 10 minutes walk from the town centre but quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Our room was in the Coach House, a separate building which is a 1 minute walk across the car park from Reception. Lovely room and the complimentary dressing gowns were a bonus.
Breakfast is cooked fresh and generally very good with plenty of choice. Staff are all friendly and helpful.
Just 1 armchair in a two person room meant one of us had to sit on the bed when watching TV.

Comfortable, clean , good helpful staff
Paying extra for parking although with location I kind of get it.
