The room was very good, and to say there was a major road outside, very quiet. Breakfast was magnificent.
There was a bus stop right outside and it was easy to get in and out of the city.
Not a disilike. Just a comment. The evening meal menu was a bit restricted. The reasons for this were explained to us and
the food offered was very nice.
Lovely staff. Super clean and spotless. Breakfast delicious.
The bedroom was nice and clean
Lovely hotel and a great surprise we a great breakfast
The hotel coukld give more info on surrounding area
Comfortable rooms, clean, Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food at dinner and breakfast. Easy access to town center.
The size of the comfy bed and a lovely selection at breakfast. It also offered gluten free bread. The room was very clean. The toiletries provided were very good.
It would benefit from a more powerful shower and better fitted shower curtain.
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Norwich and is tucked away in a courtyard. The setting is beautiful, cosy, and full of character, especially the conservatory next to the restaurant and the small garden, both of which were particularly memorable.
The room was not large, but it was perfectly adequate, clean, and tidy. The staff were very kind, and the breakfast was generous. Overall, it made our trip to Norwich all the more pleasant and relaxing.
I booked an executive double room and we were given the Garden House which is a separate building at the rear of the main building. I can recommend this as it is quiet and has a sofa and dining table downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The kitchen includes an oven, microwave, dishwasher and sink so it would be possible to do self-catering. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The breakfasts were good and we had a good evening meal. There was ample parking on site although this might have been because there was a £5 per night parking fee. There are bus stops outside on Newmarket Road with frequent services into and out of the City. The City itself is great for shopping and culture.
The location was very convenient for where we wanted to be, and the room and bathroom spacious so we were very comfortable. The hotel is set back from the road and pleasant given that we were located within a 20 minute walk to the city centre.
The toilet flush was a bit feeble, but everything else was fine given that it was an older property . Parking was extra which we didn’t expect but considering the convenience and overall reasonable price it wouldn’t affect our decision to stay again.
Clean and comfortable rooms, helpful staff.
The room was a bit small, and the very bright corridor light was shining through the door and into the bed, which is not ideal. The bathroom fan still runs for like 15-20 minutes after you turn off the switch, which is not ideal either.
The hotel is like 15 minutes walk from the city.
I was charged £6 to park my car at the hotel. Didn’t see that on the website and very disappointing.
As above
Staff were excellent
Breakfast was spot on for the day ahead
NA
