Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, convenient parking
Fridge didn’t work in the room, not particularly worthy of the high rating or pricing
Quite location close to City Centre
No lift, outdated, basic facilities
Easy to walk into Norwich City. Car park , reception staff very helpful and polite nothing too much trouble . Lovely garden a pleasure to sit in .
Evening meal menu a bit basic , service was a bit hit and miss. Waiter could do with being a bit smarter.
Large room and good value
Broken bathroom blind, reception rudely ringing up an hour before check out claiming the check out was 30 minutes less than stated on the booking.
Breakfast was excellent and the room clean and quiet even though the road was close by. Bed linens were very luxurious and I appreciated the fan in the room as it was a hot night. The bathroom was very spacious with good lighting.
I requested a twin room, but the beds were so close together it might well have been a double. I really did expect more room between the beds. Also the shower height was non-adjustable, not very useful.
Good location
Nothing
Staff were friendly. Hotel was close to the town centre. The breakfast choices were very good.
It would have been nice to have free access to the continental breakfast items, rather than having to order them.
Water offered at breakfast would have been good too.
Staff courteous and helpful. Meals were very good. Room comfortable
A lighter, summer duvet would have been better than the heavy one provided
An excellent stay. Pleasant efficient staff, nicely presented Hotel within 10 minute walk of city centre. Very clean well presented public areas. Room was spotless with very good comfortable facilities and a small but very pleasant garden in which to sit. The breakfast menu was comprehensive, very well cooked and presented as was our dinner, taken in a very pleasant “garden room”. There was also a comfortable lounge and bar available with a good pint of draught Adnams. Would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to family and friends. Well done to the Team at Annesley House Hotel and thank you again.
Good size room, clean, quiet, comfortable, safe and secure. Character property
Room and bathroom looked tired and used.
Location perfect
Accommodation was way bigger and better than expected.
Last minute book and will definitely go again
Breakfast started too late for me to enjoy( 6.45) I had an early start
Good stay, no AC in rooms but thankfully it wasn’t during the high temps. Location was good
Had to pay additional fee to park, even as a booked in guest.
The staff were all super. Really helpful. Fabulous breakfast. Very easy to the shops and centre as long as you can walk 15 mins.
The room was a little small and didn't like that there was quite a big step to the bed. On the side of busy road so a bit noisy.
Great hotel, clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful garden with a babbling brook and stunning pond.
It was a bit of a job getting to room 24 with luggage. Lots of narrow, steep stairs and heavy doors. It’s an old building so can’t be helped.
It was well kept. Staff are friendly.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
