A complete rip off.
Pros:

Breakfast ok. Free parking and decent connection to city centre.

Cons:

Falling apart, wallpaper hanging down, walls damaged and stains on bed sheets as well as not clean room.

Prima hotel met goede verbinding naar centrum.
Pros:

Rustige locatie, ontbijt goed, WiFi goed, voldoende parkeerruimte, goede busverbinding naar centrum (het hotel heeft zelfs een eigen bushalte) en goede bedden. Niet al te prijzig en vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Wij zaten in een kamer in een bijgebouw, dat was rustig maar enigszins slecht onderhouden (de badkamer leek wel nieuw) en een wat ongezellig gevoel. De TV had slechts 1 werkend kanaal.

A disappointing stay at Best Western
Pros:

*The location was green and breezy.
* 24-hour reception

Cheeky night receptionist chewing his gum and staring at you during the conversation ( we asked him to book a taxi).
2. Very limited choice of eggs for breakfast- only 1 or 2 or none of rubbery fried eggs available, whether you arrive at 7 am or 9 am: no omelette, scrambled or boiled eggs.
3. Rather abrupt Chinese staff in the canteen. One morning we entered the canteen at 9.40, and all the small tables had not been cleaned, so we sat at the large table. The waitress abruptly told us that we could not sit there and would have to leave the breakfast area by 10:00. While the guests are expected to arrive before 10:00, there has to be a notification stating that you need to leave the canteen precisely at 10:00. I responded to her that there are no clean tables left and she reluctantly cleaned one. More guests then came to have breakfast; yet, there were no rubbery eggs left, so we had to eat what was left: low-quality sugar-laden beans, bacon, and sausages.
4. One of the beds in our room was poorly designed, whereby despite being 5ft 2, I would hit my head every time I got out of bed, which was an accident waiting to happen.
5. There was no porter, and a tiny reception girl carried part of my luggage, while I had to carry the rest to the second floor myself, despite having severe asthma.

Ne pas se fier à l'aspect extérieur très attrayant
Pros:

L'emplacement est parfait avec l'arrêt de bus littéralement au pied de l'hôtel.

Cons:

Les chambres, le service, l'intérieur de l'hôtel semble quelque peu négligé. Les joints de la douche étaient noirs, les rideaux présentés des tâches, la moquette vieillissante, aucune pression d'eau dans la douche.

We enjoy this hotel.
Pros:

This was the 3rd time we have stayed here. We love the location just outside the city. The bus stop is in easy walking distance and you can be in the town center in 10 mins. Parking is free on site. Breakfast has lots of options and is a great start to the day. The hotel is an older building and decorations and furniture reflect that. The bathroom is newer. We will stay here again if we return to Edinburgh.

Cons:

Not very many plug sockets so bring a multi port adaptor.

Pros:

Die Lage ist ganz okay. Früher war es sicher einmal ein schönes Hotel.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war völlig überhitzt. Die Möbel sind alle abgenutzt. Am Kopfende des Bettes und am Bettgestell z.B. war die Farbe abgeblättert - im Gegensatz zu den Bildern auf denen alles gut aussieht. Zunächst fiel uns noch auf, dass das Fenster mit Vogelkot verschmutzt war, sodass es schon einmal sehr unappetitlich aussah. Das Leintuch war ebenfalls verschmutzt, wurde auf Aufforderung aber wenigstens ersetzt. Weitere Details wie ein fehlender Stöpsel im Waschbecken runden das Bild ab. Zu dem Preis absolut nicht angemessen.
