Il prezzo ti fa dimenticare i piccoli difetti
Pros:

È una bella struttura esternamente, vista spettacolare. È facilmente raggiungibile tramite il lothian bus n. 11, la fermata si trova proprio a due passi.. anche se forse a volte sarebbe stato piu comodo aver preso un posto in centro, ma per la qualità prezzo è ok.
Personale gentile e sempre disponibile.

Cons:

Gli interni della stanza andrebbero rimodernizzati, nel bagno c'era una mattonella rotta, assenza di spazzola per wc (ma credo che sia un problema comune di tutti gli hotel a edimburgo).
La colazione è la tipica scozzese/inglese, che per qualche giorno va bene ma.. per un soggiorno piu lungo forse dovrebbero variare un minimo.. i "croissant" venivano serviti freddi, non capisco perchè...

Pros:

Buona posizione, bell hotel, però il bagno un po piccolo e c'era un problema con l'acqua.... noi si era al terzo piano e nella doccia acqua arrivava poca.
Per il resto un buon hotel un po lontano dal centro ma servito benissimo con l autobus con la fermata proprio davanti al hotel.
Da consigliare.

C'era questo problema con l'acqua che arrivava male nella doccia .... la materassa non tanto comoda.

L' unica cosa comoda è la fermata del bus proprio sotto l hotel che porta proprio all ingresso della old Town di edimburgo

Cons:

Foto per niente veritiere della stanza, il bagno minuscolo trovato all arrivo sporco, odore strano in stanza. Non ho potuto neanche usufruire della teiera perché disgustosamente sporca. Sinceramente non mi è piaciuto nulla di questo hotel

We like the location but will only revisit if this hotel gets refurbished.

Cons:

The hotel needs a complete makeover. It's very tired, peeling paint in the bathroom, ceiling in the bathroom was detaching. The facilities needs updating.
On the other hand the staff were good.

A nice old fashioned hotel in a nice quiet part of the town.
Pros:

The hotel is very handy to get to from the Edinburgh by-pass and is in a quiet location but with good access to the city centre. It is a traditional Scottish ‘old school’ hotel which I really liked. The room was clean and comfortable, I only have a coffee but the buffet breakfast looked good and plentiful. The hotel bar was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has it’s own small car park which is big plus.
