It was a place to rest between sigh seeing. Would not recommend
Pros:

The staff was friendly

Cons:

The pull out bed was horrendous and extremely uncomfortable. The carpets were filthy and the wallpaper was peeling. The room was not even vacuumed as there was false eyelashes on the floor

Et rigtig godt hotel
Pros:

Hotellet var meget indbydende, det føltes næsten som et slot. Placeringen var glimrende, med smuk udsigt over en større park. Vores værelse var udstyret med en overetage og en terrasse, som vi ikke nåede at bruge. Der var rent, roligt og rart at være. Vi manglede ikke noget, og så var prisen meget fin.

Cons:

En radiator eller noget, der lød som en, kunne høres i væggen om natten, men det er ikke meget.

Lovely welcome at reception. All the staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and polite.
Pros:

We had a lovely view from our room, however, the room and bathroom were a little compact, a slightly larger space in the bedroom and bathroom would have been excellent.

An excellent location for exploring Edinburgh, just a short bus ride away.

Cons:

A fridge in the bedroom would make the stay more enjoyable. Also, some bottled water in the room would have been useful.

Pros:

Location great. Room ok but could have been bigger and with bath as booked originally. Reception were very helpful when we had to complain. Tyler behind bar was very good.

Cons:

Mix up with room to start. Customer service in restaurant could have been lot better as had to wait for service when having meal. Long wait between courses. Was a shame as we have always had great service when stayed before.
