The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and there was a water cooker in the room. The location was only a few minutes walk away from Princes Street and Calton Hill.
What was provided by the cleaning staff was inconsistent especially regarding providing a clean mug. The cleaning staff left my room unlocked on one day; leaving my door slightly ajar - unlocked. Thankfully, all my belongings were there when I returned. The breakfast could improve by adding ripe bananas, mandarins, and muesili. Furthermore, the hall floor carpeting especially looked worn out, needing replacement. For the price and the 3 stars, I thought the facilities and breakfast not as good as I expected.
