It was great to be close to London, but we were disappointed with the breakfast and room facilities.
Pros:

It was a 5 min walk to the underground station.
Lots of nice coffee shops and eateries locally too

Cons:

We paid for breakfast to be included in our stay and yet were asked to pay extra if we wanted to English breakfast. This is not made clear on the booking!
We decided to buy food to cook in our room but soon realised the kitchen really wasn’t equipped for cooking in despite there being a hob and an oven.
The tv in our room was a ‘cast from your device’ only tv and none of our multiple devices were able to cast so we got stuck with basic channels only.

Location excellent, lovely area well served by public transports, lots of restaurants and coffee shops.

Cons:

The website doesn't mention that the hotel is undergoing refurbishment.
The rooms are now studio flats, convenient but not for everyone.
I was expecting a traditional hotel room.
The breakfast is set up in the reception area,.
Comfortable breakfast area but if you want to sit in the reception area you can't do so because there's nowhere to sit.

Pros:

Great location. The room was spacious & comfortable. Staff are friendly & helpful.

Cons:

Bathroom was very small & narrow. Breakfast offer was poor. Cereal, fruit & toast! Not worth the cost.

Pros:

Gute und heiße Dusche. Gute Matratze und Kissen.

Cons:

Das Bad war sehr klein und eng. Wer am Waschbecken stand, hat sich den Po an der Heizung verbrannt. Wir mussten ein Handtuch über die Heizung legen.
Im Haupthaus war Baustelle, dort gab es auch Frühstück. Das Personal war bemüht, aber wirklich einladend war es dort nicht. Außerdem liefen in dem riesigen Fernseher beim Frühstücken die ganze Zeit die Nachrichten mit Berichten über Schießereien. Auch nicht besonders gemütlich.
