Always spotless.Staff efficient and welcoming.Rooms pristine.
L’hotel è in fase di importante rinnovamento. Noi abbiamo avuto una family room nell’ala rinnovata dotata di comodi letti, cucina con piastra a induzione frigo e microonde. Tutto elegante in una situazione molto tranquilla. La reception è come sempre molto gentile e disponibile . Conosciamo L’hotel per esserci stati più volte, anche usufruendo del parcheggio e negli anni e’ in costante miglioramento.

Breakfast okay but there could have been more fresh fruit. Breakfast room quite ‘clinical’
Our bedroom (504) was newly revamped but quite clinical and soulless.
The bathroom needed more shelves and a glass or glasses.
The towels were lovely!
Locatie was voor onze verblijf en hetgeen we wilden doen (Ascot en Londen bezoeken) prima.
Kamer was klein en hotel stond compleet in de steigers. Daardoor ook wat geluidsoverlast. Was handig geweest om dit even te melden.

Scaffolding and building work going on at the time of our stay - woken 8am with building work - loud metal sheets clashing for 2-3 hours as work went on literally right outside our ground floor window.

Brilliant location.
Recently refurbished room.
Spotlessly clean.
Room was very small (particularly the bathroom) for a double size.
Mattress uncomfortable (obviously this is only a personal preference).
Building update works were taking place during our stay which meant the entire building was clad in scaffolding and there was a dusty atmosphere in the reception area. Obviously, this will disappear when the works are completed but it detracted from our stay and we were not informed about it prior to our arrival.
Our room was newly renovated, comfy enough beds. Parking was easy (although does fill up very quickly on weekends).
It didn’t help that we’re staying in a heatwave but our room (411) had two air conditioners. One wouldn’t switch on and the other blew room temp air. We didn’t realise until we got back to the room late at night so had to live with it.
