Fabulous location and view. Lovely staff.
Comfortable bed and room. New bathroom.
Cafetière and tea pot with a choice of leaf teas in the room was a lovely touch.
Modern decor, great views
No air conditioning, breakfast service was slow
Great location
A beautiful stylish hotel. Wonderful to have a parking space allocation, taking the stress out of staying in a popular coastal town. We parked up and then just walked everywhere which was ideal. Breakfast was delicious and all staff were super helpful and friendly. From all smiles reception staff, super helpful restaurant staff setting up an outside table for us for Breakfast to the guy working in the underground garage who cheerily brushed some glass to clear the exit ramp for us following the waste collection truck. Rooms well designed and bathroom lovely. We have stayed in many high end hotels in many countries and we both remarked The Greenbank was up there for us as often something gives.. decor..staff..location.. it was a big tick for all.
Dog friendly rooms on the lower floors? we stayed on the hottest week of the year. The doggy welcome pack was a lovely touch.
Low ceiling in my room. Often hit my head
your staff are exceptionally efficient, and smile all the time. It seems they are happy to work there - this is most important.
A very slight pressure on the sunday night when a mis-communication between bar staff and kitchen staff meant that the bar staff thought the kitchen would be operating until 21.00 hours, when in fact the kitchen stopped at 20.30. In normal times this would be meaningless but it meant I had very ltd menu choices. Having said all of that, a tricky situation was, nevertheless, handled well. Bravo to the bar staff.
Breakfast was great. Great to have coffee choice. Service could be faster though. It was slow even though there was plenty of staff and the room didn’t seem to be that busy.
Our room 102 was a bit dark and compact. At times I think there was a funny smell. Bed was a bit small though it was comfortable.
The rooms were comfortable and the location was good .
The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and porridge, accompanied by honey and toast. Our view was overlooking the Fal river...absolutely beautiful and we dined in the bar in the evening which was also very tasty.
The weather!
Everything
The food, staff and service was exceptional. The hotel itself was situated on the estuary with beautiful views from the lounge and dining areas.
The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped with toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities.
View, friendly staff
