Set in beautiful, quiet parkland only a few minutes walk to a bus stop. The main building is impressive. Our first floor room was in a separate block, with views to the trees. Being out of the main building meant that noise from functions etc did not intrude.
The bath has neither a non slip coating nor a grab rail. While a fan was provided, there is no aircon.

I liked the balcony on the 1st floor and the air conditioning was a huge bonus.. Plenty of free parking. The staff i met were very pleasent, even the gardener.
It was all good for me.
The main building is full of character and the setting is very peaceful and beautiful for a London hotel. The breakfast was good, particularly on the first morning when it was cooked fresh. (The second morning was buffet service because after a wedding.) The staff were very helpful at breakfast. It was very hot the weekend we stayed. Our room didn't have air conditioning as some rooms do. However, there was a fan that was very effective. It was basic but comfortable and I appreciated having two more comfortable chairs to sit in. Parking is good - plenty of space.
We were too late to book an accessible room but agreed to go ahead anyway. We were in the annex where there were steps to reach our room even on the ground floor. The shower was over the bath and my husband wasn't able to use it. I was able to, but it wasn't very powerful. My husband is partially sighted and the light by the bed wasn't strong enough to read by. Having the main light on helped but we couldn't see a way to switch the main lighting off from the bed.

Upstairs anexe room was extremely hot, a fan was provided but it was still quite uncomfortable during the recent heatwave. The corridors were a lot cooler!

The staff were very attentive and attention to detail was good. The room was clean and well appointed, the bed was comfortable
I asked for a quiet room. My room faced out on to the car park so was woken early by people leaving in their cars
Leider nicht mehr soviel, wir waren vor 4 jahren bereits dort - da hat es uns sehr gefallen, diesmal leider nicht mehr
Zimmerservice musste bei Bedarf extra gezahlt werden. Wir waren nun leider im guesthouse untergebracht. Die türen knallen sehr stark zu, sodass man nachts oft wach geworden ist, wenn Gäste zurück gekommen sind. Keine Klimaanlage! Für den Preis nicht empfehlenswert. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist natürlich ein Traum.
