Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurde uns Hilfe beim Gepäcktragen angeboten. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, Bushaltestellen und Underground sind um die Ecke. Es gibt nett gestaltete Aufenthaltsbereiche im Erdgeschoss. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte gut.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist sehr heruntergekommen und teilweise defekt (Lampen, Fliesen, undichter Heizkörper). Elementare Einrichtungsgegenstände wie z.B. eine Klobürste haben gefehlt. Einige Ecken im Bad sowie der dicke Teppichboden machten einen unhygienischen Eindruck. Der Lüfter im Bad wurde sicherlich ewig nicht mehr gereinigt. Unser Zimmer war direkt an der Straße und recht laut – die Fenster haben den Schall von außen leider nur schlecht isoliert. Das Frühstück wurde im Keller in einem fensterlosen Raum serviert und war eher mittelmäßig. Einige Speisen machten den Eindruck, als wurden sie schon länger warmgehalten. Der Aufzug war bei unserem Aufenthalt defekt und wurde währenddessen (4 Tage) auch nicht repariert.

Pleasant accomodations away from the heavy traffic of London, but still close to areas we wanted to visit.
Pros:

Convenient location for walking to restaurants, coffee shops and bus routes. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom small, but everything worked. Breakfast included. Elevator access to upper floors.

Cons:

Internet was unreliable and slow when it was working. Our stay was during a heat wave and the a/c couldn’t cool fourth floor rooms adequately.

Unique boutique hotel with warm and helpful staff who greet you home each day!
Pros:

The location was excellent for all that we wanted to see and do! Having air conditioning and black out draperies in our room made our stay during 90 degree weather comfortable.

Cons:

We liked the quaintness of this property like the half floors, so you need to climb a few steps to the room which was not a problem for us.
